Sales Executive – Medical Equipment

Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Head

Array Med Pvt. Ltd. is a healthcare and medical equipment company providing innovative medical solutions to hospitals, healthcare institutions and medical professionals. Our product portfolio includes Surgical, Orthopaedic, Laparoscopy, Ophthalmology, Neuro Surgery, Neuro Implants, Critical Care and Ultrasound solutions.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, target-oriented and customer-focused Sales Executive to drive sales and business development for Array Med’s medical equipment portfolio.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with hospitals and healthcare professionals, promoting products, generating enquiries, following up on opportunities and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

Identify and generate new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
Visit hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and healthcare institutions regularly.
Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, networking and market research.
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Develop new accounts and expand business with existing customers.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up of all opportunities.

Hospital & Customer Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with Doctors, Surgeons, Biomedical Engineers, Purchase Managers, Hospital Administrators and Procurement Teams.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable medical equipment and solutions.
Maintain regular communication with existing customers to generate repeat business.
Handle customer queries and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.

Product Promotion & Demonstration

Present Array Med products and solutions to healthcare professionals.
Conduct product demonstrations and explain product features, benefits and applications.
Coordinate with the Application/Technical team for product demonstrations and trials whenever required.
Participate in medical conferences, exhibitions, hospital events and promotional activities.

Sales Process & Order Management

Prepare quotations and proposals in coordination with the internal team.
Follow up on quotations, negotiations and purchase orders.
Coordinate with operations, logistics, service and application teams for smooth order execution.
Support installation, product training and post-sales activities.
Follow up on pending payments and collections as required.

Market & Competitor Analysis

Monitor competitor products, pricing and market activities.
Identify new market opportunities and potential customers.
Provide regular feedback on customer requirements, competitor activities and market trends.

Reporting & CRM

Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
Update leads, opportunities, follow-ups and sales pipeline in the CRM.
Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales activity reports.
Track sales performance against assigned targets.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in medical equipment, medical devices, healthcare or institutional sales preferred.
Freshers with strong communication and sales skills may also be considered.
Good knowledge of hospital sales and healthcare industry is an advantage.
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Target-oriented and self-motivated.
Good relationship-building and customer-handling skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
