Full job description

We are hiring an experienced Performance Ad Video Editor who understands how to create videos that generate clicks, leads and sales—not just visually attractive content.

The editor will produce and re-edit conversion-focused advertising creatives for US audiences across Meta, Instagram Reels, Google, YouTube and native advertising platforms.

This is a specialist position. Applicants must have direct experience editing paid social advertisements, UGC creatives, product advertisements and short-form performance videos.

Key Responsibilities

Edit high-converting video ads from raw footage, UGC, product assets and AI-generated content
Create strong hooks within the first 1–3 seconds
Produce fast-paced 15–60 second advertisements
Create separate layouts in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9 formats
Add accurate burned-in captions, motion graphics, sound effects and suitable music
Develop multiple hooks, openings and end-card variations for creative testing
Recut existing footage into fresh advertising concepts
Follow Meta, Google and native-advertising policies
Keep important text and visuals inside platform-safe areas
Review every frame for spelling, cropped text, incorrect products and policy risks
Organize projects, source files and final exports clearly
Work closely with media buyers and the creative team using campaign-performance feedback

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of professional video-editing experience
Proven experience editing paid advertising creatives
Strong understanding of direct-response advertising and audience retention
Experience with UGC ads, product demonstrations, testimonials and native-style creatives
Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or equivalent professional software
Ability to create platform-specific compositions rather than simply cropping one video into different ratios
Strong English comprehension and excellent attention to spelling
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple brands simultaneously
Understanding of hooks, CTR, retention, conversion rate and creative fatigue

Preferred Experience

Previous work with US e-commerce, DTC, health, beauty or affiliate offers
Experience using AI-generated footage and correcting common AI errors
Familiarity with Meta advertising policies
Experience creating ads based on media-buyer feedback and performance data
Basic graphic-design and thumbnail-design skills

Portfolio Requirement

A portfolio of paid advertising videos is mandatory.

Please include:

Three to five performance-ad examples
At least one UGC-style advertisement
At least one product-focused advertisement
Examples in both 9:16 and 4:5 formats
A short explanation of your exact contribution to each project

Important

We are not looking for someone who only edits cinematic videos, wedding videos, podcasts or organic social-media reels. We need an editor who understands advertising, customer psychology, platform policies and conversion-focused creative production.

Salary: ₹30,000–₹60,000 per month, depending on experience and portfolio quality.

Schedule: Full-time

Location: Delhi or remote, depending on the final employment arrangement.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
