Helpdesk Lead is expected to act as technical expert for SAP/Coupa and Salesforce by trouble shooting and provide problem resolutions for purchasing activity. The role supports delivery of BP business and functional strategies by driving efficiency and effectiveness across end-to-end FBT Procurement and Group Source to Pay (S2P) process ownership. The role provides expertise in management of the S2P Global Process Design Standards. As a key member of the Agile Squad’s, this role is highly collaborative which will involve integrated process optimisation opportunities into product backlog/brainstorming sessions and will working closely with the Squad team and process execution team to form the correct solutions that will meet the different business needs.
Support Squads to implement timely and disruptive improvements in existing processes delivering better value and experience
Lead and manage the end-to-end Coupa Procurement team.
Lead the successful transition of new processes, tools, and operational activities into BAU operations.
Ensure seamless knowledge transfer, documentation review, SOP readiness, and process stabilization during transition phases.
Partner with project teams, collaborators, and business users to drive smooth onboarding of new workflows and system enhancements.
Identify transition risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Supervise post-go-live performance and drive hypercare support until processes are fully stabilized.
Establish governance and reporting mechanisms to supervise transition milestones, readiness, and operational performance.
Champion change management initiatives and drive user adoption of new processes and technologies.
Ensure SLA, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction targets are consistently achieved.
Act as the primary issue point for high-priority and sophisticated Coupa-related issues.
Monitor team performance and ensure effective workload management.
Inspire, coach, and partner with business partners and 3rd party vendors to deliver outcomes whilst ensuring an inclusive culture
Resolve issues that are escalated by the team and oversee and monitor their performance.
Ensure compliance to relevant policies that may differ from country to country whenever possible, failing which may result in a negative impact on bp
Champion the use of GBS Procurement and Supplier Management processes and tools to ensure Operational Excellence and improve overall Business performance

4. Qualifications, Competencies & Mindset
Essential Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in, Finance, Accounting (B.com)
Strong hands-on experience with Coupa tool Procurement Platform
Knowledge of SAP ECC / Ariba integration with Coupa.
This role requires working exclusively in the night shift (US business hours – 6.30 PM to 3.30 AM)
Minimum 8+ years of experience managing a client-service oriented function with experience in management of large corporate initiatives/projects, critical thinking, relationship management and processes
Solid understanding of procurement and general accounting practices
Proficient in PSCM applications including ARIBA, SAP and Salesforce, Coupa
Direct process management experience including standard methodologies, driving innovation, continuous improvement, technologies, processes, procedures and tools
Shared service centre experience is essential
Experience of working cross culturally and in an international environment
Ability to communicate and influence across different levels in the organisation
