About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to support the delivery of AI Data Services projects while serving as a bridge between Project Management, Operations, and Technical Solutions teams.
This role combines traditional project management responsibilities with hands-on technical execution. In addition to managing project timelines, resources, quality, and client communications, the Technical Project Manager will help configure data platforms, support workflow implementation, troubleshoot technical issues, and act as a backup resource for the Data Services Solutions Team when required.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with AI data workflows, data platforms, technical documentation, and basic scripting or automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Ownership
Manage the full lifecycle of AI data projects from planning through delivery.
Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Monitor project health, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
Ensure deliverables meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients.
Translate client requirements into operational and technical project plans.
Facilitate communication between clients, operations teams, and technical stakeholders.
Support solution presentations, onboarding activities, and implementation discussions.
Technical Workflow Management
Configure and maintain workflows within data operations platforms.
Support project setup, taxonomy implementation, user permissions, task routing, and workflow customization.
Assist in the deployment and testing of data projects and data pipelines.
Validate platform configurations before production launch.
Troubleshoot workflow and platform-related issues.
Solutions Team Support
Act as a backup resource for the Solutions Team during periods of increased demand.
Assist with technical solution design for AI data collection, annotation, evaluation, and validation projects.
Support platform integrations and workflow implementation activities.
Participate in technical discovery sessions and requirements gathering.
Process Optimization & Automation
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and workflow optimization.
Develop scripts, templates, dashboards, or process automations where appropriate.
Document technical procedures, implementation guides, and best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across AI Data Services operations.
Reporting & Analytics
Create project reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor productivity, quality, and operational KPIs.
Analyze project data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Skills
3–5+ years of project management experience in AI, data services, technology, localization, or related industries.
Experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Strong understanding of AI data lifecycle processes, including:
Data collection
Data annotation
Data validation
Human-in-the-loop workflows
LLM evaluation projects
Experience working with data platforms or comparable technical SaaS tools.
Ability to configure workflows and troubleshoot platform-related issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
Ability to understand technical documentation and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SuperAnnotate or similar data platforms.
Basic Python scripting experience.
Familiarity with REST APIs and system integrations.
Experience supporting machine learning, AI training data, or GenAI evaluation projects.
Knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals.
Experience creating process automations.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Technical background in Data Operations, Solutions Engineering, QA, or Business Analysis.
