Overview
Gallagher Center of Excellence GCoE is seeking to hire a Senior Project Coordinator/Account Manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership and successful delivery of communication solutions for a defined portfolio of Gallagher clients. The role ensures projects are planned, executed, and delivered to the highest standards—on time, within budget, and aligned to client objectives—while maintaining strong, value-driven client relationships that support retention and growth. Working as part of the Programme Management Office PMO, with Senior Communications Consultants and cross-functional account teams, the Senior Project Coordinator takes full accountability for project delivery, translating client requirements into clear project plans, coordinating resources, managing risks, and overseeing implementation from initiation through closure. The role requires a proactive, solutions-focused approach to managing scope, timelines, budgets, and quality, while ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders. In addition to project ownership, the Senior Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and mentoring junior team members, sharing best practices in project management and client servicing, and contributing to continuous improvement within the team—always operating with a client-first mindset and in alignment with organizational values.

- Proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple client projects simultaneously, maintaining control over scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Sound understanding of project management processes, with the ability to apply structured methodologies to drive efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Financial acumen, including experience in project estimating, budget management, and cost control.
- Strong tactical consulting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues quickly and recommend practical solutions.
- Confident participation in client meetings and conference calls, with the ability to manage day-to-day client interactions effectively.
- Experience managing supplier relationships, including print management, estimates, purchase orders, and quality spot-checks.
- Ability to build and sustain strong working relationships that support effective account, project, and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering a professional, high-quality service to clients, colleagues, suppliers, and third-party partners.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to proactively manage expectations and strive to exceed them where possible.
- Conflict-resolution capability, including the ability to identify potential issues early and facilitate outcomes acceptable to all stakeholders.
- Collaborative approach to working with suppliers, fostering respectful and productive partnerships.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills, including preparation and distribution of regular client status updates during live projects.
- Ability to produce timely and accurate contact reports following client meetings.
- Experience ensuring project governance requirements are met, including the creation and approval of statements of work.
- High level of accuracy in recording chargeable and non-chargeable time in line with internal processes.
- Capability to develop case studies that capture project outcomes and client value.
- Experience liaising with suppliers and finance teams to support timely invoices and financial reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of, and adherence to, internal policies, procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated commitment to good governance, ethical standards, and organizational values.
- Client-first mindset, consistently placing client needs and business value at the center of decision-making.
About you
Minimum Required Degree: Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communications or related field, and
Experience : • Creative agency, marketing, retirement, consultancy or HR communication experience required.
- Project and client management experience required.
- Supplier and stakeholder management required.
- 7-10 years professional experience
- Service orientated: outstanding customer service, ability to translate client needs, demonstrates commerciality in their actions, management of expectations, developing and maintaining strong relationships.
- Excellent organization skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Core consulting skills in communication and project implementation, including: proactivity, questioning, listening and taking a collaborative/partnership approach with clients (not order-taking).
- Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and develop workable solutions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work, including ability to produce high standards of documentation.
- Confidence to challenge and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders when required.
- Able to deal with change in a positive way.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and computing skills.
- Creative and technical copywriting and copy-editing.
- Experience of proofreading.
- Basic presentation preparation and delivery.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Use of AI.
