Role & responsibilities 1. Strategic B2B partnerships and outlet acquisition
- Build a qualified pipeline of gyms, fitness studios, sports facilities, cafés, premium stores, corporate workplaces and community partners.
- Personally visit prospects and meet owners, managers and purchasing decision-makers.
- Conduct product presentations, commercial discussions and tasting sessions.
- Secure opening orders and activate the first 25-35 productive outlets in selected Hyderabad clusters.
- Prioritize concentrated distribution across Gachibowli, Financial District, Kondapur, Madhapur, Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills.
- Negotiate retailer margins, product visibility, sampling support and payment terms within company guidelines.
- Track flavour-wise sales and consumer sell-through at each outlet.
- Develop 10-15 high-performing anchor accounts.
- Build strong reorder behaviour rather than merely maximizing the number of signed locations.
2. Channel and partnership developmentDevelop commercial relationships across:
- Gyms, CrossFit facilities and fitness studios
- Cricket academies, turfs and sports clubs
- Badminton, padel and pickleball facilities
- Running, cycling and active-lifestyle communities
- Premium supermarkets and gourmet stores
- Nutrition stores, cafés and healthy-food outlets
- Corporate offices, cafeterias and employee-wellness programs
- Apartment communities and sports tournaments
Evaluate sampling and sponsorship opportunities based on measurable consumer engagement and commercial potential.3. Account management and field execution
- Maintain regular contact with active partner outlets.
- Monitor inventory, refrigeration, shelf placement, pricing and point-of-sale visibility.
- Coordinate timely replenishment using LYFs delivery arrangements.
- Secure repeat orders and maintain outlet-wise reorder schedules.
- Identify low-performing accounts and recommend sampling, relocation or stock reduction.
- Monitor collections, returns, damage and expiry exposure.
- Conduct consumer sampling at selected partner locations.
- Train temporary promoters and partner staff on LYFs positioning and usage occasions.
- Collect structured retailer, consumer and competitor feedback.
- Maintain accurate outlet-level sales and inventory reports.
4. Quick-commerce developmentQuick commerce will be introduced through a phased and commercially controlled approach.
- Identify the most suitable quick-commerce platform and high-potential West Hyderabad clusters.
- Build relationships with category and account-management teams at Blinkit, Zepto and Instamart.
- Prepare onboarding documentation, catalogues, barcode information, pricing, product content and commercial proposals.
- Evaluate platform margins, fulfilment costs, advertising expenses, discounts and expected net realization.
- Recommend when LYF has sufficient demand evidence to begin a limited quick-commerce pilot.
- Initially target one platform or a controlled selection of dark storesnot simultaneous citywide expansion across all platforms.
- Coordinate pilot inventory allocation and replenishment.
- Track store- and SKU-level sales velocity, inventory cover, availability and contribution.
- Resolve PO, catalogue, invoice, inventory and payment-reconciliation issues.
- Recommend expansion only when the initial stores demonstrate acceptable sales and commercial viability.
Quick-commerce listings should complement LYFs proven offline demandnot replace the work of creating local consumer demand.5. Commercial analysis and reporting
- Maintain an outlet and account-level sales dashboard.
- Track opening orders, reorders, collected sales and account productivity.
- Measure sales per outlet, bottles sold per day and flavour-wise performance.
- Track margins, discounts, delivery costs, platform fees and promotional ROI.
- Provide weekly reports covering pipeline, active outlets, sales, inventory, collections and market feedback.
- Recommend which outlets, neighbourhoods and channels should receive additional investment.
- Coordinate partner announcements and local campaigns with the Social Media Manager.
- Work closely with the COO on inventory planning, fulfilment and sales forecasts.
Preferred candidate profile
- 4–6 years of experience in field sales, key account management, business development, institutional sales, modern trade or quick-commerce account management.
- Relevant experience in FMCG, beverages, foods, sports nutrition, health and wellness, personal care or consumer products.
- Demonstrated experience personally acquiring and developing B2B accounts.
- Strong knowledge of the Hyderabad market.
- Comfortable spending approximately 60–70% of working time in the field.
- Experience negotiating commercial terms, margins, promotions and payment arrangements.
- Strong follow-up and account-management abilities.
- Familiarity with Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for sales, inventory and campaign analysis.
- Strong communication skills in English and Telugu; Hindi is an advantage.
- Valid driving licence and access to personal transportation.
- Comfortable supporting occasional weekend fitness and sports activations.
- Comfortable working hands-on within an early-stage company.

- Build a database of at least 100 qualified Hyderabad prospects.
- Conduct 20–25 decision-maker meetings.
- Secure 10–15 founding partner commitments.
- Prepare outlet pricing, order forms and account-management reporting.
- Complete quick-commerce commercial research and onboarding-readiness documentation.
- Develop a shortlist of platforms and dark-store clusters for a later pilot.
Days 31–60
- Activate 20–25 productive offline outlets.
- Establish 8–10 anchor accounts.
- Implement weekly stock, sales and reorder tracking.
- Conduct structured sampling programs at selected partner locations.
- Achieve a minimum 40–50% reorder rate among eligible accounts.
- Initiate discussions with selected quick-commerce platforms without committing excessive inventory or marketing spend.
Days 61–90
- Reach 25–35 productive offline outlets.
- Establish 10–15 anchor accounts with consistent consumer movement.
- Achieve a target outlet reorder rate of at least 50–60%.
- Collect at least 60 days of outlet-level sell-through data where possible.
- Identify the strongest channels, areas and flavours.
- Present a financially viable quick-commerce pilot proposal.
- Begin a limited pilot only if offline traction and platform commercial terms support it.
Definition of a productive outletA productive outlet should:
- Carry saleable inventory
- Display or refrigerate the product appropriately
- Report measurable consumer sales
- Place or become eligible for repeat orders
- Pay within approved terms
- Maintain acceptable expiry and return risk
Signing an agreement or accepting free stock does not make a location productive.Quick-commerce expansion gateLYF should approve meaningful quick-commerce expansion when most of these conditions are met:
- 25–35 productive offline outlets
- At least 50–60% outlet reorder rate
- 10–15 consistent anchor accounts
- Approximately 60 days of sell-through data
- Clear flavour-wise demand
- Stable pricing and channel margins
- Predictable inventory replenishment
- Positive or strategically acceptable contribution after platform fees, promotions and discounts
