Role Purpose:
At Prevalent AI, we're transforming how organizations understand and reduce cyber risk. Our Exposure Management products combine contextual data, security intelligence, and AI-driven insights to help clients identify , prioritize , and remediate the risks that matter most.
As a Senior Product Owner – Exposure Management, you will play a critical role in translating complex cybersecurity challenges into product capabilities that deliver measurable client outcomes. You will own the product backlog and work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Security Analysts, and Client-facing teams to shape, prioritize , and deliver features across our Exposure Management portfolio.
This role requires deep cybersecurity domain expertise . You should have a strong understanding of modern security operations, exposure management, vulnerability management, attack surface management, identity security, cloud security, and risk prioritization . Your ability to bridge security knowledge with product delivery will be key to building solutions that solve real-world security problems.

Key Accountabilities:
- Own and maintain the product backlog for Exposure Management products, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and business priorities.
- Translate complex cybersecurity problems into well-defined Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Work closely with Product Managers to align feature delivery with strategic product objectives .
- Partner with Engineering teams throughout sprint planning, backlog refinement, development, testing, and release activities.
- Collaborate with Client Solutions, Security SMEs, and customers to understand operational challenges and incorporate feedback into product priorities.
- Ensure features are practical, scalable, and aligned with real-world security operations and client workflows.
- Drive backlog prioritization using customer value, security impact, business objectives , and technical feasibility.
- Validate delivered functionality against acceptance criteria and intended business outcomes.
- Support go-to-market activities by helping articulate product capabilities, client value, and exposure management use cases.
- Continuously improve backlog quality, delivery processes, and Agile product practices.
Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, security technologies, and industry trends to ensure product capabilities remain relevant and competitive.
Skills & Experience:
Product Ownership
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Owner delivering enterprise software or SaaS products.
- Strong experience managing product backlogs, defining features, writing user stories, and driving Agile delivery.
- Experience working closely with Engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Cybersecurity Domain
- Extensive experience working within cybersecurity products or security operations, with strong expertise in Exposure Management and related security domains.
- Deep understanding of two or more cybersecurity concepts including - vulnerability management, attack surface management, identity security, cloud security, exposure prioritization, and enterprise risk reduction.
- Strong knowledge of two or more modern cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies such as CTEM, Zero Trust, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls.
- Practical experience working with enterprise security technologies including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, cloud security, and exposure management platforms.
Ability to translate complex cybersecurity challenges, security workflows, and technical concepts into clear, actionable product requirements that deliver measurable client value.

Data & Analytics
- Experience working with data-centric products, security analytics, or intelligence platforms.
- Comfortable using data and client insights to prioritize product decisions and improve outcomes.
Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics or intelligent prioritization within cybersecurity products is advantageous .
Good to have:
- Experience with Exposure Management or Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) platforms.
- Familiarity with Knowledge Graph concepts or graph-based security intelligence.
- Exposure to Data Fabric or large-scale security data platforms.
- Understanding cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience working with Databricks or similar analytics platforms.
- Exposure to AI-powered cybersecurity products or security automation.
Experience working within Managed Security Services (MSSP/MDR) environments.
Education:
- B.Tech in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering , Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business with relevant cybersecurity experience.
- CSPO, PSPO, SAFe Product Owner, or equivalent Agile certification is desirable.
