Job Description – Sales Executive

Company: Sudev Wood Tech
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reporting To: Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager
Location: Jaipur

Job Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business, achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and promoting Sudev Wood Tech's modular furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, doors, office furniture, and customized interior solutions. The role requires regular client meetings, field visits, project follow-ups, and coordination with internal departments to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development

Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by the management.
Develop business from residential, commercial, corporate, and institutional clients.
Promote the company's modular furniture, interior solutions, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and customized furniture products.

2. Lead Management

Handle enquiries received through calls, WhatsApp, email, social media, and walk-in customers.
Follow up with prospective clients and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and update lead status regularly.

3. Client Relationship Management

Build long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, dealers, and corporate clients.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
Ensure excellent customer service before and after sales.

4. Site Visits & Meetings

Visit customer sites to understand project requirements.
Conduct product presentations and explain materials, finishes, pricing, and customization options.
Coordinate measurements and technical discussions with the design team when required.

5. Quotation & Order Management

Coordinate with the design and estimation team for preparing quotations.
Negotiate pricing within company guidelines.
Follow up on quotations until order confirmation.
Ensure all customer documents and purchase orders are properly collected.

6. Coordination with Internal Teams

Coordinate with Design, Production, CRM, Accounts, and Installation teams for smooth project execution.
Monitor order progress and keep customers updated regarding production and delivery timelines.
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.

7. Payment Collection

Follow up for advance payments and outstanding dues.
Coordinate with the Accounts Department to ensure timely payment collection.
Maintain proper records of customer payments.

8. Reporting & Documentation

Submit Daily Sales Reports (DSR), Weekly Reports, and Monthly Sales Reports.
Update CRM with customer details, meeting notes, quotations, and follow-up status.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

9. Market Development

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and industry trends.
Suggest new sales strategies to improve market share.

10. Professional Conduct

Represent Sudev Wood Tech professionally during client meetings and exhibitions.
Maintain confidentiality of customer information and company data.
Follow all company policies, sales procedures, and ethical business practices.

Skills Required

Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent customer relationship management abilities.
Good presentation and convincing skills.
Knowledge of modular furniture, interiors, building materials, or construction products will be an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Email, and CRM software.
Ability to work under sales targets and deadlines.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or any relevant discipline.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in Sales, preferably in modular furniture, interiors, home décor, building materials, real estate, or construction-related industries. Relevant sales experience in similar industries is preferred.

Achievement of monthly sales targets.
Number of new leads generated.
Lead-to-order conversion ratio.
Revenue generated.
Customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Timely follow-up and CRM updates.
Outstanding payment recovery.
Number of client meetings and site visits completed.
