● Experience 7–10 Years (Lithium-ion Battery / EV Battery / ESS Manufacturing experience preferred)
● Education Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or
● B.Tech in a relevant discipline.
● Salary Up to ₹8.00 LPA (Based on experience and interview performance)
About the Role
MaxVolt Energy Industry Limited is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager / Manager –
Production to lead production operations and ensure efficient manufacturing of lithium-ion battery packs and energy
storage solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong production planning, manpower management, quality
control, and process improvement skills while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and operational
excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
● Lead and supervise day-to-day production activities to achieve production targets.
● Ensure smooth execution of manufacturing operations with optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and
materials.
● Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
● Coordinate with Production Planning, Stores, Purchase, and Quality teams for uninterrupted operations.
Shop Floor Management
● Manage complete shop floor operations while ensuring adherence to SOPs.
● Monitor line balancing and optimize production capacity.
● Improve productivity through efficient workflow management.
● Ensure minimum downtime of machines and production lines.

Team Leadership
● Lead, train, and mentor supervisors, engineers, technicians, and operators.
● Allocate manpower effectively according to production requirements.
● Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development initiatives.
● Promote discipline, teamwork, and employee engagement on the production floor.
Process Improvement
● Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
● Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
● Optimize cycle time, reduce rejection rates, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
● Focus on cost reduction through waste elimination and process optimization.
Quality Management
● Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
● Coordinate with the Quality team to resolve production-related quality issues.
● Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring defects.
● Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and customer specifications.
Safety & Compliance
● Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
● Maintain safe working practices and conduct regular safety audits.
● Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company policies.
● Promote a zero-accident culture across the production department.
Machine & Equipment Management
● Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
● Ensure optimum utilization and availability of production equipment.
● Work closely with the maintenance team to minimize machine downtime.

Reporting & Documentation
● Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
● Monitor key production KPIs including:
○ Production Output
○ Line Efficiency
○ Rejection Rate
○ OEE
○ Machine Downtime
○ Productivity
● Maintain production records, shift reports, and process documentation.
Cross-Functional Coordination
● Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Stores, Maintenance, Procurement, NPD, and Logistics teams.
● Support new product development and production trials.
● Ensure smooth execution of production plans based on customer requirements.
Required Skills
● Strong leadership and people management abilities.
● Excellent production planning and execution skills.
● Knowledge of Lithium-ion Battery Manufacturing processes.
● Experience in Battery Pack Assembly, ESS Manufacturing, or EV Components Manufacturing.
● Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, and TPM.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems.
● Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
