Data Analyst – Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Job Title Data Analyst – RCM Data Mapping & Semantic Layer Development Job Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst with experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and healthcare data. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing source data in Google BigQuery, performing data profiling and mapping activities, translating source data into the IBM Unified Data Model for Healthcare (UDMH), and supporting the design and development of a business-friendly Semantic Layer for reporting and analytics. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data architects, data engineers, and reporting teams to ensure accurate data transformation, standardization, and accessibility across RCM domains. Key Responsibilities Source Data Analysis & Profiling Analyze and understand healthcare and RCM data stored in BigQuery source tables. Perform data profiling, data quality assessments, and completeness checks on source datasets. Identify relationships, dependencies, and business rules within source systems. Document source-to-target data transformations, calculations, and derivation logic. Data Mapping & UDMH Alignment Map source system data elements to the IBM Unified Data Model for Healthcare (UDMH). Develop and maintain detailed source-to-target mapping documents. Collaborate with Data Architects to ensure adherence to UDMH standards and modeling guidelines. Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and mapping challenges, and propose remediation approaches. Validate mappings with business stakeholders and subject matter experts. Semantic Layer Development Assist in designing and developing enterprise semantic models for reporting and analytics. Define business-friendly metrics, dimensions, hierarchies, and KPIs within the semantic layer. Translate complex healthcare and RCM data structures into consumable datasets for business users. Work with reporting and analytics teams to ensure consistency of calculations and metric definitions. Support semantic layer testing, validation, and optimization. Business & Stakeholder Collaboration Facilitate discussions with RCM business teams to understand reporting and analytical requirements. Gather and document business definitions, data requirements, and KPI specifications. Support data governance and metadata management initiatives. Provide functional guidance during data validation and user acceptance testing activities. Data Quality & Validation Perform reconciliation between source systems
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain sql queries and scripts for efficient data retrieval.
2. Utilize data analysis techniques to interpret complex data sets and identify trends.
3. Design and implement python scripts for automation and data manipulation.
4. Collaborate within team to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
5. Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
6. Create data visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in sql, data analysis, and python.
