About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer (Electronics / PCB / RF) to ensure the quality and reliability of analog, digital, and RF PCB assemblies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspection, process compliance, defect analysis, and continuous quality improvement throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect PCB assemblies for workmanship, solder quality, component placement, and assembly accuracy.
Verify product builds against engineering drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions, and test documents.
Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.
Identify, document, and investigate product defects and non-conformities.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance documentation.
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
Collaborate with design, production, test, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Participate in internal audits, process improvement initiatives, and quality reviews.
Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and customer requirements.

Required Skills

Experience in PCB/Electronics Quality Assurance.
Strong knowledge of SMT, THT, PCB manufacturing, inspection methods, and assembly processes.
Ability to identify PCB defects, soldering issues, and component placement errors.
Experience reading electrical schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and manufacturing documents.
Familiarity with quality tools such as RCA, CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and 8D.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
2–5 years of experience in Electronics/PCB Quality Assurance.

Preferred Qualifications

M.Tech is preferred.
Experience with RF PCB assemblies, prototype manufacturing, and electronics testing.
Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001) is an added advantage.
Exposure to ISO 9001 quality management systems and electronics manufacturing environments.
