Unity Game Developer

Job Type: Full-Time
Work Mode: Work From Home / In Office (Flexible)
Location: Delhi, India
Experience: 0–2 Years

Job Description

We are looking for a Unity Game Developer to join our game development team. Candidates with 0–2 years of experience are welcome to apply, including freshers with strong practical Unity development skills.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Unity and C# and a genuine understanding of the complete mobile game development process.

Important Requirements

The candidate must be capable of:

Developing a complete game from scratch.
Creating or generating the game assets required for development, including 2D/3D assets, UI elements, icons, backgrounds, sprites, animations, effects, and other visual/game assets as required.
Building and testing the game for Android.
Publishing and updating the game on the Google Play Store.

Freshers are welcome to apply, but they must have independently developed and published at least one complete game on the Google Play Store.

The published game should be a game that the candidate personally developed from scratch, rather than simply contributing to an existing project or following a tutorial without significant independent development.

Responsibilities

Develop complete mobile games using Unity and C# from scratch.
Implement gameplay mechanics, game systems, UI, animations, effects, levels, progression, rewards, and other game features.
Create, generate, modify, and integrate game assets required for the project.
Generate or prepare 2D/3D assets, sprites, UI elements, icons, backgrounds, animations, VFX, and other game resources when required.
Integrate game assets and third-party SDKs, APIs, advertisements, analytics, and in-app purchases.
Create and manage Android APK/AAB builds.
Debug and fix gameplay, UI, performance, and build-related issues.
Optimize games for Android devices and different screen sizes.
Publish and update games on the Google Play Store.
Handle Google Play Console tasks including testing tracks, releases, version updates, and basic store configuration.
Maintain clean, organized, and reusable C# code.
Test games thoroughly and resolve bugs.
Troubleshoot technical issues independently.

Required Skills

Strong practical knowledge of Unity Engine and C#.
Understanding of Android/mobile game development.
Ability to develop a complete game from scratch.
Ability to create/generate and modify game assets independently.
Understanding of 2D/3D game assets, sprites, UI, icons, backgrounds, animations, VFX, and game resources.
Ability to create and manage APK/AAB builds.
Experience publishing a self-developed game on the Google Play Store is required for freshers.
Basic understanding of Google Play Console.
Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Git/version control is an advantage.

Experience

Experienced candidates: 1–2 years of Unity game development experience preferred.
Freshers: Welcome to apply if they have strong Unity skills and have developed a complete game from scratch, created/generated the required assets, and successfully published the game on Google Play Store.

Preferred Skills

Experience with AI-assisted game asset generation or other asset-generation tools.
Google AdMob integration.
Unity IAP / Google Play Billing.
Firebase integration.
Leaderboards, achievements, events, rewards, and online features.
Third-party Unity SDK integration.
Experience maintaining and updating published games.
Knowledge of mobile game performance optimization.

What We Are Looking For

We value practical skills and completed projects over certificates or academic qualifications.

Candidates should provide:

A portfolio of Unity projects.
Google Play Store link(s) to games they have developed.
A brief description of their role in each game.
Examples of game assets they have created or generated.
Candidates must be able to explain how they developed the game from scratch, including gameplay, assets, programming, testing, Android build, and publishing.

Important

For freshers, having a published game is mandatory.

The candidate must have personally contributed substantially to the development of the game and should be able to demonstrate that they understand the complete development process:

Game Concept → Asset Creation/Generation → Unity Development → Gameplay → UI/UX → Testing → Android Build → Google Play Store Publishing
