Full job description

We are looking for a proactive and organized Junior HR Executive cum Project Coordinator to support our HR operations while coordinating day-to-day project activities. The ideal candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

The role involves assisting with recruitment and employee coordination, maintaining HR records, supporting employee engagement activities, and ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and project stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesHR Responsibilities

Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and follow-ups.
Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, attendance, leave, and other documentation.
Coordinate employee onboarding and exit formalities.
Prepare HR-related documents, reports, letters, and trackers.
Support employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, and internal communication.
Assist in implementing company HR policies and procedures.
Coordinate with employees regarding HR-related queries and requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
Support payroll-related data collection and verification when required.

Project Coordination Responsibilities

Coordinate and track ongoing projects to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Follow up with team members regarding project deliverables, deadlines, and pending activities.
Maintain project trackers, schedules, status reports, and documentation.
Coordinate communication between clients, internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders as required.
Organize project meetings and prepare meeting notes/action points.
Monitor project progress and highlight delays, issues, or dependencies to the concerned team.
Assist project managers/team leads with administrative and coordination activities.
Ensure proper documentation and timely sharing of project updates.
Handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while maintaining priorities and deadlines.

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
Strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace, especially Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, and PowerPoint/Slides.
Basic understanding of HR processes and recruitment.
Ability to maintain trackers, reports, and documentation accurately.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in HR, administration, project coordination, or a similar role.
Candidates with experience in both HR operations and project coordination will be preferred.

Accuracy and timely maintenance of employee records.
Effective coordination and follow-up across projects.

They should be comfortable communicating with different teams, following up on tasks, managing deadlines, and ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly.
