Full job description

Socialvert is looking for an experienced VP – Sales & Marketing to lead and drive the company’s sales and marketing functions. This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing revenue strategies, driving customer acquisition, improving sales conversions, and building high-performing Sales and Marketing teams.

Social vert is a Content marketing agency which helps clients grow organically. We serve local businesses in USA

The ideal candidate should be a strategic leader who is equally comfortable setting the overall vision and being hands-on with execution, data analysis, team management, and business growth.

This is a fully remote position with direct involvement in the company’s growth strategy and leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSales & Revenue Leadership

Own the end-to-end sales and revenue function, from lead generation to customer conversion and revenue realization.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Build and optimise the sales funnel to improve lead-to-customer conversion rates.
Develop and implement sales processes, playbooks, scripts, follow-up systems, and performance standards.
Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, conversion, and revenue.
Work closely with the leadership team to identify new revenue opportunities and growth channels.
Monthly Revenue Target: $30K/month in new revenue
Quarterly Revenue Target: $120K in new revenue
Annual Revenue Target: $400K/year in new revenue

Marketing Leadership

Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to drive qualified leads and business growth.
Oversee digital marketing, paid acquisition, organic growth, content, and other relevant marketing channels.
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure marketing-generated leads are effectively nurtured and converted.
Analyse campaign performance, customer acquisition costs, ROI/ROAS, and funnel metrics.
Identify new marketing channels, campaigns, and strategies to improve customer acquisition.
Monthly Lead Target: 80 to 100
Marketing Budget: $10,000

Team Leadership

Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the Sales and Marketing teams.
Define team structures, roles, KPIs, targets, and performance expectations.
Recruit and retain high-performing Sales and Marketing talent.
Establish a strong culture of accountability, ownership, and performance.
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement systems to improve team productivity.
Current Team Structure: Founder + Appointment Setter

Business Strategy & Growth

Work closely with the Founder and leadership team to define and execute the company’s growth strategy.
Identify new customer segments, revenue opportunities, partnerships, and market opportunities.
Use data and market insights to make informed business decisions.
Track business performance and provide regular reports and recommendations to the leadership team.
Represent the Sales & Marketing function in leadership meetings.
Contribute to the overall strategic direction and long-term growth of Socialvert.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

8+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Revenue, or similar leadership roles.
Proven track record of leading Sales and/or Marketing teams and achieving revenue targets.
Strong understanding of sales funnels, lead generation, customer acquisition, and conversion optimization.
Experience developing and implementing sales strategies, processes, and performance systems.
Strong understanding of digital marketing and performance marketing.
Experience managing both strategy and execution across Sales and Marketing.
Strong analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and people-management skills.
Ability to build, motivate, and hold high-performing teams accountable.
Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organisation.
Prior experience managing remote teams is preferred.
Experience inmarketing agencies is preferred.
Experience with high-ticket sales: is Preferred
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect marketing and sales activities directly to revenue outcomes.

WORKING HOURS

Work Mode: Fully Remote

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 8 hours
