Position Title: Sr C++ Developer

C2C

Experience - 8+ years

Duration: 12 months

Remote

Timings: 2 PM/3PM to 12AM/1AM

Job Description

Criteria for C++ :

The customer is specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience in Embarcadero C++Builder, which is a different technology and its the mandatory skill for this position. (not just C++ or MFC C++).
C++ Builder - Rapid Application Development (RAD) environment.
Good SQL query and database skills

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced C++ Lead Developer with strong expertise in application development on the Windows platform. The ideal candidate should possess solid hands-on experience in modern C++ development, object-oriented programming concepts, SQL programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C++ on Windows OS
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Develop scalable and high-performance software solutions
Work on application enhancements, bug fixing, and performance optimization
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide root cause analysis
Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and support teams
Participate in code reviews and ensure coding best practices
Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures
Support production deployments and post-release activities
Lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 8+ years of application development experience using C++
Strong experience working on Windows-based applications
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
Minimum 3+ years of experience in SQL and Stored Procedures
Strong debugging and analytical/problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in CST time zone overlap

Good to Have Skills (Optional)

Experience with GitHub or other version control tools
Experience with C++ Builder
Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Candidate Profile

Self-motivated and detail-oriented professional
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong ownership mindset and commitment to quality delivery
