About the Role
We are seeking an experienced L&D Operations Team Lead to oversee, plan, and manage comprehensive learning initiatives and programs across our global organization. This role will lead a team of L&D coordinators, ensuring operational excellence across all L&D lifecycle events, with particular focus on employee learning and training journeys.
What this job involves:
Lead and manage a team of L&D coordinators, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to ensure delivery excellence
Oversee the submission and tracking of learning programs, e-learnings, and learning journeys in Workday, ensuring data accuracy and resolving escalated discrepancies
Support onboarding initiatives by tracking employee and manager progress, creating weekly reports to monitor new joiner training requirements, collecting feedback about new hire orientation through surveys and focus groups and evaluating program effectiveness.
Prepare and present monthly operational performance deck to stakeholders, showcasing key metrics, insights, and recommendations to drive strategic alignment and informed decision-making
Generate comprehensive training metrics reports including completion rates, participant satisfaction, and return on investment (ROI) through data extraction, analysis, and visualization to demonstrate business impact and support data-driven decision making.
Coordinate and optimize learning program operations including resource allocation, stakeholder management, process improvements, and quality assurance across all delivery formats
Oversee tactical learning program coordination including calendar management in Outlook, maintaining accurate learning records, tracking participant progress, facilitating stakeholder communications, and collecting participant feedback for continuous improvement
Provide technical and logistical support for all learning delivery formats including setting up virtual meeting environments (Teams/Webex), coordinating room bookings and materials for in-person sessions, creating, and distributing invitations, tracking attendance, and managing post-session communications.
Maintain competency catalogues and establish governance for data requests and updates
Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to maximize engagement with L&D offerings
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement scalable solutions to enhance operational efficiency
Stay current on AI advancements in the L&D space and recommend innovative solutions that align with organizational learning strategy
Key Skills:
Proven team leadership and people management experience
Strong program management capabilities with demonstrated success delivering complex programs across matrixed, global environments
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
Comfort working with emerging technologies and ability to evaluate, pilot, and implement AI-driven solutions
Excellent stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
Superior communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing senior leadership
Expert data management, validation, and reporting skills
Deep understanding of Learning and Development practices, methodologies, and industry trends
Advanced MS Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience with Workday Learning environment or similar HR ERP systems required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Learning and Development operations, including minimum 2-3 years in a team lead or supervisory role
Track record of successfully managing client initiatives and programs at various organizational levels
