Senior OCI Cloud Architect / Oracle Cloud Platform Administrator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior OCI Cloud Architect to lead the administration, architecture, security, and operational support of our Oracle Cloud ecosystem supporting enterprise-wide Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle EPM, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and cloud platform services.
This role is responsible for designing, administering, monitoring, securing, and optimizing Oracle cloud environments while partnering closely with Infrastructure, Security, Development, Finance, and Business teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and capable of troubleshooting complex production issues with minimal guidance.
This is a senior technical role requiring deep Oracle Cloud administration experience rather than application development.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Administer OCI environments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production.
- Design and maintain OCI networking, VCNs, DRGs, NSGs, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints, FastConnect, and VPN connectivity.
- Manage OCI Compute, Storage, ATP, Object Storage, Logging, Monitoring, Events, Notifications, Vault, and Certificates.
- Perform OCI capacity planning and cost optimization.
- Support environment provisioning, cloning, refreshes, and migrations.
- Configure and maintain OCI Monitoring, Alarms, Logging Analytics, and operational dashboards.
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Administer OIC environments.
- Support deployment and migration of integrations between environments.
- Manage OIC security, certificates, connectivity agents, REST/SOAP connections, and scheduled integrations.
- Troubleshoot failed integrations and performance issues.
- Support release management and production deployments.
Identity & Access Management
- Administer OCI IAM and Oracle Identity Domains.
- Configure SSO integrations using SAML and OAuth.
- Support integration with Okta and enterprise identity providers.
- Manage users, groups, dynamic groups, policies, compartments, and federation.
- Maintain certificates and authentication configurations.
Oracle Platform Administration
Support administration of:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud
- Oracle EPM
- ATP Database (Autonomous Transaction Processing)
- Oracle APEX
- Oracle Visual Builder
- Oracle DevOps
- Oracle Object Storage
- Oracle REST APIs
- Oracle Cloud Services
DevOps & Code Migration
- Manage code migration across environments.
- Support CI/CD using Oracle DevOps, Git, FlexDeploy, or equivalent tools.
- Build deployment automation where possible.
- Maintain release documentation and rollback procedures.
- Support Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives.
Monitoring & Operations
- Implement monitoring using OCI Monitoring, Datadog, and custom dashboards.
- Develop proactive alerting strategies.
- Monitor integrations, scheduled jobs, cloud services, and infrastructure health.
- Participate in production support and incident management.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term improvements.
Security & Compliance
- Implement Oracle Cloud security best practices.
- Manage encryption keys, certificates, and secrets.
- Support ITGC, SOX, audit, and compliance activities.
- Participate in vulnerability remediation and security reviews.
Automation
- Automate operational activities using OCI CLI, OCI SDK, Python, Shell scripting, and Terraform (preferred).
- Reduce manual operational effort through automation.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Oracle infrastructure experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on OCI administration.
- Strong Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) administration experience.
- Expertise in OCI IAM, Identity Domains, and SSO (Okta, SAML, OAuth).
- Experience supporting Oracle Fusion ERP and ATP databases (Autonomous Transaction Processing).
- Strong OCI networking knowledge (VCN, NSG, DRG, Load Balancer, VPN, DNS, Private Endpoints).
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
