Position: Senior Developer

Overview:

We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our team. This role will involve developing and leading projects from start to finish, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. As a Senior Developer at Chris Engineering Team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and use the latest technologies to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and own the end-to-end development of complex projects, from conception to delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices and high coding standards are followed
Actively participate in code reviews and contribute towards improving code quality and development processes
Stay abreast with the latest technologies and trends in the industry and propose ways to incorporate them into our products
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software developer, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
Extensive experience with at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
Experience developing and leading projects using Agile methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proven track record of delivering high-quality products within tight timelines
Prior experience in the engineering industry is a plus
