Accounts Manager

Managing Director / Proprietor

Job Summary

The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations while supporting the day-to-day administration of the appalam manufacturing business. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage financial records, statutory compliance, inventory-related accounts, and staff coordination.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Finance

Maintain accurate books of accounts.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Handle accounts payable and receivable.
Manage cash flow, bank transactions, and reconciliations.
Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks.
Process employee salaries and maintain payroll records.
Monitor company expenses and control costs.
Prepare profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
Ensure compliance with all financial and legal regulations.

Operations & Administration

Maintain purchase and sales records.
Verify supplier invoices and customer payments.
Monitor inventory records in coordination with the production and store departments.
Prepare production costing and profitability reports.
Supervise office administration and accounting staff.
Maintain confidential financial and business documents.
Assist management in budgeting and financial planning.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG company is an advantage.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Good communication and organizational skills.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Accuracy of financial records.
Timely submission of statutory filings.
Effective cash flow management.
Budget adherence and cost control.
Timely payroll processing.
Accurate inventory and production cost reporting.
Compliance with financial regulations.

As per company policy.

Salary

Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
