E-Commerce Analyst

About the Role

Aimler Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical E-Commerce Analyst to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. This role is ideal for individuals who have strong analytical skills, an interest in digital commerce, product data management, and online marketplace operations.

The E-Commerce Analyst will be responsible for analyzing e-commerce platform performance, evaluating pricing structures, maintaining accurate product information, and supporting content and digital commerce teams with product data requirements. The role requires a combination of business analysis, data management, marketplace knowledge, and cross-functional coordination.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, analyzing pricing and cost structures, maintaining product information accuracy, and ensuring products are properly prepared for online channels and digital catalogs.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Analytics & Pricing Analysis

Analyze e-commerce platform pricing structures, fees, commissions, fulfillment costs, and other cost components to evaluate overall profitability.
Conduct competitive pricing analysis and identify pricing trends, opportunities, and risks across online sales channels.
Prepare reports and dashboards analyzing product performance, pricing, margins, sales trends, and marketplace opportunities.
Evaluate product-level profitability by analyzing selling prices, platform fees, operational costs, and other associated expenses.
Support business decisions through data-driven insights and recommendations.
Monitor marketplace performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Product Data Management & Content Support

Maintain accurate and complete product information across internal systems and digital commerce platforms.
Manage product attributes, specifications, descriptions, dimensions, certifications, images, barcodes, and other required product content.
Work closely with the Content, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure product information is complete and accurate.
Prepare and organize product content required for online listings, customer portals, and digital catalogs.
Ensure product data consistency across multiple platforms and systems.
Review product information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer requirements.

GDSN / Product Information Management

Maintain and update product information using 1WorldSync and other product data management platforms.
Create, update, and manage item details including GTINs, UPC/EAN barcodes, packaging information, product attributes, certifications, and regulatory information.
Support item setup, data synchronization, and troubleshooting of product data-related issues.
Ensure product information meets retailer, marketplace, and industry data standards.
Maintain documentation related to product specifications, certifications, and compliance requirements.

Marketplace & Digital Operations Support

Support product setup and maintenance for e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
Monitor product listings for accuracy, completeness, and content quality.
Assist in identifying listing improvements related to search visibility, product descriptions, keywords, and content optimization.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure products are ready for online launch.
Track product availability, inventory status, and marketplace requirements.

Reporting & Process Improvement

Generate weekly and monthly reports related to pricing, product performance, data accuracy, and marketplace activities.
Maintain analytical reports using Excel, BI tools, or other reporting platforms.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for product data management and e-commerce operations.
Support management with business analysis, special projects, and strategic initiatives.

Required Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze pricing, cost structures, margins, and marketplace performance.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling large amounts of product data.
Understanding of e-commerce platforms, online marketplaces, and digital product management.
Experience with product information management (PIM), ERP systems, or data syndication platforms is preferred.
Knowledge of product attributes, GTIN/UPC barcodes, packaging information, and digital catalog requirements.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in e-commerce analytics, product data management, marketplace operations, business analysis, or related roles.
Experience working with ERP systems, PIM systems, or GDSN platforms is preferred.
Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel may also be considered.

Preferred Experience

Experience analyzing online marketplace pricing and fee structures.
Familiarity with product catalogs, digital content management, and online merchandising.
Experience working with barcode systems, product identifiers, and item setup processes.
Knowledge of e-commerce reporting, sales analytics, and profitability analysis.

KPIs (Performance Metrics)

Accuracy and completeness of product data.
Timeliness of product setup and content updates.
Quality and accuracy of pricing analysis reports.
Identification of cost optimization and profitability improvement opportunities.
Marketplace listing accuracy and completeness.
Product data compliance across platforms.
Reporting accuracy and delivery timelines.
Improvement in operational efficiency through data-driven recommendations.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Work Mode: Work from Office

Locations: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Shift Timing:

5 Days Working (Monday to Friday)
Weekly Off: Saturday and Sunday
Night Shift – 6:30 pm to 3:00 am

Salary: ₹5,00,000 – ₹7,00,000 per annum (CTC), depending on experience, skills, and interview performance.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
