About the Role:

We're looking for a Business Development Intern to sit at the front lines of our business development engine — helping us organise, write, and submit high-quality proposals, RFP responses, compliance forms, and security questionnaires for international clients and institutional partners (corporates, educational institutions, hospitals, and government bodies).

This is hands-on exposure to how enterprise and institutional deals actually get won — from the moment an RFP lands in our inbox to the moment a contract is signed. You'll work closely with product, engineering, legal, and sales, and you'll also get pulled into live client calls where presales and sales overlap — so you're not just filling forms in isolation, you're seeing the full deal come together.

If you're precise, proactive, and curious about how global B2B and B2G deals are structured, this is a strong way to break into presales and business development.

Roles & Responsibilities:

RFP & Compliance Form Management

Review incoming Requests for Proposals (RFPs), RFIs, and tenders, and complete detailed client questionnaires, compliance documents, and data-security forms (including items related to HIPAA, ISO 27001, and other regulatory standards relevant to our institutional partners)
Track submission requirements closely to ensure nothing — a form field, an annexure, a signature — gets missed

Content Writing & Editing

Draft, proofread, and format persuasive, client-ready proposal responses using our existing content library and product documentation
Adapt tone and content for different audiences — corporate HR teams, hospital administrators, educational institutions, and government stakeholders each need a different pitch

Internal Coordination

Work closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Sales to gather accurate answers to technical, clinical, and operational questions from prospective clients
Join client calls alongside the sales team when needed, to understand requirements directly and follow up on outstanding questions

Bid Tracking

Maintain and update our proposal tracking database (Excel/CRM) so every submission deadline and action item is accounted for
Flag at-risk deadlines proactively before they become a problem

Knowledge Base Upkeep

Help organise, update, and maintain our central repository of standard answers, FAQs, and case studies to speed up future proposal responses
Identify recurring questions or gaps in our existing content and suggest what should be added

Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration, Communications, English, Information Technology, Psychology, or a related field
Exceptional written English — strong grammar, tone control, and an eye for professional formatting
Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Google Docs (using styles and templates) and Excel/Google Sheets
A genuinely high level of precision — you catch the small details in complex forms that others miss
Comfortable being proactive: asking questions, chasing busy internal stakeholders, and following up until you get what you need
Comfortable joining client calls and taking notes/action items in real time

Nice to Have:

Experience with generative AI tools for editing, summarising, or drafting content
Prior exposure to B2B sales, business development, or account management (internship or coursework)
Interest in healthcare, HealthTech, or mental health/wellness
Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
