Full job description

Job Title: Sales Executive — Modular Furniture Factory

Location: Hyderabad

Reporting To: Sales Manager / Head of Sales

Overview:

Experienced sales professional (minimum 3 years in modular furniture/custom joinery/kitchen & wardrobe manufacturing or related interior fit-outs) responsible for sourcing and closing B2B and B2C orders, managing the full sales cycle, and coordinating with design and production teams to deliver projects on time and to spec.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Generate leads and develop business from developers, architects, interior designers, contractors, dealers, retailers, and end customers.

2. Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, client meetings, site surveys, needs assessment, quotations, negotiation, order confirmation, and post-delivery follow-up.

3. Prepare accurate commercial quotations, specifications and proposals in coordination with design/engineering and production teams.

4. Translate client requirements into production-ready information; coordinate shop drawings and technical clarifications with the design team.

5. Maintain CRM with leads, pipeline, quotations, orders, and client communications; prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.

6. Conduct factory/product demos and site visits; promote factory capabilities and product range (kitchens, wardrobes, wardrobes, storage systems, office/retail fit-outs).

7. Coordinate with procurement, production, quality control and logistics to ensure timely manufacturing, QC and delivery.

8. Handle contract terms, payment schedules, and ensure collections follow-up.

9. Address post-delivery service, warranty issues and ensure high customer satisfaction.

10. Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing; provide feedback for product development and pricing strategies.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. Minimum 3 years’ proven sales experience in modular furniture, custom joinery, interior fit-outs, or related manufacturing environment.

2. Demonstrable track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and closing project orders.

3. Diploma/Graduate in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Engineering or related field preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong product knowledge: materials, finishes, hardware, fittings, and manufacturing processes.

2. Excellent negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.

3. Ability to interpret basic shop/CAD drawings or effectively coordinate with design team.

4. Proficient with CRM systems, MS Office; comfortable preparing costings and commercial proposals.

5. Customer-focused, target-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

6. Willingness to travel locally for client/site visits and factory meetings.

7. Knowledge of B2B tendering and dealer/channel management is a plus.
