Job Description — Social Media Manager

Location: Udaipur
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can independently manage social media accounts from client communication and strategy to execution, publishing, and performance analysis.

The ideal candidate should understand social media beyond just posting content, they should be able to understand a brand, develop a strategy, coordinate with internal teams, communicate confidently with clients, and use performance data to continuously improve results.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients for day-to-day social media communication
Understand client objectives, brand positioning, target audience, and business goals
Develop monthly social media strategies and content plans
Create and manage monthly content calendars across relevant platforms
Develop content ideas, themes, campaigns, hooks, and creative directions
Plan and coordinate brand shoots, including shoot concepts, references, shot lists, props, locations, and talent requirements
Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, photographers, creators, and other internal/freelance teams to ensure timely execution
Review creative outputs and ensure they meet the brand's visual and communication standards
Manage daily posting, scheduling, captions, hashtags, tagging, and publishing
Stay updated with Instagram trends, formats, features, sounds, and emerging content patterns
Monitor comments, DMs, mentions, and overall community engagement
Track social media performance through key metrics such as reach, engagement, views, followers, saves, shares, and clicks
Prepare monthly performance reports and derive actionable insights from the data
Identify what content is working and what isn't, and use these insights to improve the next month's strategy
Present ideas, strategies, reports, and performance updates to clients
Proactively identify opportunities for campaigns, collaborations, trends, and growth
Ensure consistent brand voice, positioning, and visual identity across all content
Manage multiple clients and timelines simultaneously while ensuring quality and timely delivery

What We're Looking For

1–3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in an agency environment
Strong understanding of Instagram and other major social media platforms
Good communication and client-handling skills
Strong understanding of content strategy and social media trends
Ability to turn business objectives into practical content ideas
Good analytical and reporting skills
Strong organisational and project-management abilities
Ability to coordinate effectively with creative and production teams
Good copywriting and content ideation skills
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Someone who is creative but also data-driven

Pay: From ₹8,000.00 per month
