Job title: Tech Support Intern

About the Role:We’re looking for a Tech Support Intern to handle learner and stakeholder support tickets for the IIMBx platform, and coordinate routine tasks within the Tech team. This is a remote role with fixed working hours.

What You’ll Do

- Respond to and resolve support tickets raised through our support tools.
- Sort each query – figure out whether it’s a platform issue, a content issue, or a user error – and escalate to the right team member when it’s beyond first-line resolution.
- Log recurring issues and flag patterns to the team so they can be fixed at the source.
- Maintain a basic knowledge base / FAQ for common learner queries, and add relevant FAQs directly to the knowledge base within the support tools.
- Periodically check and update the AI/automation workflows (auto-replies, bot, routing rules) within the tools as needed.
- Present the monthly ticket performance report end-to-end (volumes, response/resolution times, common issue categories).
- Act as coordinator for the Tech team’s recurring rituals checklist – track what’s due, who owns it, and follow up to make sure each item (things like periodic reviews, reports, agenda prep for recurring meetings, and routine tasks) is completed before its deadline.

What We’re Looking For

- Ideally have completed your degree (any stream); final-year students are also welcome to apply – no specific technical background required.
- Clear, professional written communication – you’ll be writing to learners and instructors daily.
- Reliable availability within our working window of 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM IST, daily.
- Organised and consistent – able to manage a ticket queue without things slipping through.
- Proactive with follow-ups.
- Comfortable learning new tools quickly; prior exposure to a helpdesk/CRM tool is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable using AI tools to help draft and speed up responses.
