Job Description – Senior MEAN/MERN Stack Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior MEAN/MERN Stack Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in the MEAN/MERN stack, have experience working with video/audio players and streaming technologies, and be capable of providing technical guidance to team members.

The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, ownership of technical solutions, and the ability to mentor developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MEAN/MERN stack.

Develop high-performance, responsive user interfaces using Angular or React.js.

Build secure, scalable, and optimized backend services using Node.js and Express.js.

Design and optimize MongoDB schemas, queries, and indexes.

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

Work on video/audio player integration, customization, and optimization for web applications.

Integrate streaming technologies such as HLS, MPEG-DASH, and DRM solutions where applicable.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical solutions.

Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct technical reviews, and assist the team in resolving technical challenges.

Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
