Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for assembling electronic and electro-mechanical products as per engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. The role requires precision, discipline, and the ability to work in a high-reliability manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic modules, cable harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, and complete systems as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Perform PCB assembly, soldering (Through-Hole and SMT), crimping, wiring, cable dressing, and connector termination.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, Bill of Materials (BOM), and manufacturing instructions.
- Conduct visual inspection and basic functional checks before forwarding products for testing.
- Maintain proper assembly records, production logs, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety procedures during assembly.
- Report assembly issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to the Production Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
- Support prototype builds, engineering change implementation, and production improvement activities.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to achieve production targets.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- Freshers with good practical skills are encouraged to apply.
- 1–3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in soldering, wiring, cable harness assembly, and connector crimping.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with ESD-safe working practices.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and PCB assembly.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Defence, Aerospace, EMS, or high-reliability electronics manufacturing.
- IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience with Build-to-Print (BTP) manufacturing.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
