Procurment Sourcing Assistant Manager

What this job involves:
Ensuring proper budget management
In this role, you’ll be our clients’ go-to person for all procurment matters. Without you, the proper coordination with multiple stake holders & service partner, will not be possible for them.
Primarily, you’ll be on top of all vendor coordination by executives and AFMs for vendors, and ensure that expectations are met. A typical day for you would also involve crunching numbers and making sure that all monthly bills are processed. Likewise, you will manage the billing and recovery of costs from appropriate cost centres.
You will also interact and advise your counterparts from other locations in the region on the financial matters.
Specific duties
l Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the procurement service delivery of an account.
l Control budgets approved by the client ensuring that the financial objectives set in the MSA is achieved.
l Develop a Purchase Strategy for various services/supplies as per the contract scope. Manage and drive strategic relationship with key suppliers’ in-line with corporate SCM guidelines. In this capacity, the Procurement Manager is accountable for the achievement of the Management Plan and all key performance indicators including responsibility for managing the budgets, short and long-term regional projects, operations and maintenance, interface with senior managers in client business units, coordination with other key managers within alliance partner organizations and customer satisfaction.
l Build and maintain good relationship with the clients, line managers as well as with the entire team to make them understand the targets and objectives. Develop and implement long term goals in order to ensure efficiency. Represent the company in internal and client forums.
l Management of key risks on behalf of the procurement and sourcing.
l Be responsible for statutory compliance as per the client and corporate program for sub vendors and ensure vendors comply with 100%.
l In consultation and collaboration with team leads oversee the operation, staffing, performance and development of the sub-contractor service delivery across all sites.
l Find the new means to reduce the cost and increase the efficiency of the contract.
l Must be hands on to deal with tactical and transactional sourcing activities for the account and time to time as per the instructions of the client.
l Ensure client satisfaction with Facility/Property Management teams across India sites by providing a seamless interface into central procurement. Demonstrate leadership, responsiveness, and creativity.
l Understand the Procurement Management scope for the client assigned and develop client specific processes and procedures in consultation with Transition Manager and ensure implementation and compliance of the processes.
l Oversee the development and management of the sub contracted services budgets.
l Use financial and economic analysis to determine financial impact and develop effective plans.
l Develop and implement the annual management plan; accomplish key performance indicators as identified by the management.
l Setting up quarterly and annual business reviews with all suppliers.
l Oversee compilation and deliver the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for the team.
l Coordinate discussions with each direct report regarding goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning and incentive/salary administration.
l Ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle minimum audit standards.
l Share benchmarks data & best Ethical practices for suppliers with the assigned owner of best practices for Jones Lang LaSalle CPS.
l Contract Management: Identify & mitigate risks by way of executing contracts, SLA and other T&Cs and timely renewals thereof.
Performance Objectives
l Meet or exceed best practice in provision of services through contracts
l Establishment and adherence to policies & procedures, compliance deadlines for each of the tasks as advised by the Operation Manager.
l Effective management of the team.
l Sets objectives and measurable goals and motivates team to achieve them.
l Coaches and develops staff and provides regular feedback and guidance.
l Manage own portfolio vendors.
l Ensure all Procurement and savings related data is maintained accurately.
l Ensure data security and sharing of data on need to know basis.
Qualifications
l Preferably any degree
l Procurement experience required 8-12 Years
l Manager will have responsibility for the management of a wide range of issues, from strategic Contracts management to input on day-to-day operations.
l Manager will be highly familiar with the service structure, including responses to requests for assistance on Facilities Management issues from Client staff and arrangements pertaining to all operating expenditures.
l Excellent Inter-personal and communication skills.
l Excellent PC skills – Advance MS office.
l Strong negotiation skills.
l Strong Analytical Ability required.
l Thorough understanding of suppliers, market trends, bidding process, contract & negotiation.
l Well-groomed and presentable all the time.
l Good communication Skills.
