Online German Language Tutor (A1–B2)About Lugeta Academy

Lugeta Academy is expanding its global team of freelance online educators. We are looking for highly professional, responsible, and student-focused German language teachers who can deliver high-quality online instruction and maintain international teaching standards.

As a freelance educator at Lugeta Academy, you will receive teaching opportunities based on your expertise, availability, and performance. High-performing teachers are given priority for future student requirements.

Position

Online German Language Tutor (A1–B2)

Key Responsibilities

Teach German language students from A1 to B2 level.
Prepare students for Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF, telc, and ÖSD examinations (where applicable).
Deliver engaging online classes focused on Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, Grammar, Vocabulary, and Pronunciation.
Create structured lesson plans aligned with student goals.
Assign and review homework regularly.
Prepare worksheets, quizzes, assignments, and assessments.
Monitor student progress and provide regular academic updates to Lugeta Academy.
Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and timely communication.

Mandatory Requirements

Bachelor's degree in German, Foreign Languages, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
Excellent English communication skills.
Minimum 2 years of online teaching experience.
Experience teaching students from different countries (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Singapore, etc.).
Goethe Certification C1 or above.
Experience teaching CEFR A1–B2 levels.
Strong command of German grammar and communication.
Ability to independently prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
Ability to evaluate student performance and maintain progress reports.
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
Professional attitude, reliability, and commitment to assigned responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in German or a related field.
Goethe C2 Certification.
Experience preparing students for Goethe-Zertifikat, TestDaF, telc, or ÖSD examinations.
Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot for lesson planning and educational content creation.

Strong and stable high-speed internet connection (Mandatory)
Reliable power backup (Mandatory)
Proficiency with Google Meet, Zoom, or similar online teaching platforms (Mandatory)
Ability to create digital worksheets, assignments, presentations, and assessments (Mandatory)
HD Webcam (Preferred)
Good-quality microphone/headset (Preferred)
Pen tablet (Preferred)
Quiet and professional teaching environment (Preferred)
Familiarity with Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Microsoft PowerPoint (Preferred)
