Job Title: Project Head - Bina/Lalitpur
Job Type: Full Time
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Head to support and drive centralized project planning, monitoring, and coordination for Green Hydrogen projects in the Bina/Lalitpur region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on schedule tracking, inter-department coordination, contractor performance monitoring, and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Monitoring
- Utilize strong project planning, monitoring, and coordination capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with MS Project / Primavera/other project management software for schedule development and tracking.
- Develop and maintain master project schedules aligned with SCOD, connectivity milestones, and regulatory timelines.
- Track project progress across engineering, procurement, land, transmission, and construction streams.
- Identify schedule slippages, interface risks, and critical dependencies; propose corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and permitting requirements for the project.
Central Coordination & Interface Management
- Act as the single point of coordination between HO teams (Engineering, Land, Regulatory, Finance, Legal) and site teams.
- Coordinate with state authorities, EPCs, OEMs, BoP contractors, transmission agencies (CTU/STU), and consultants.
- Support interface management across generation, evacuation, and grid connectivity scopes.
Contract & Commercial Tracking
- Monitor contractual milestones, deliverables, and key dates as per EPC / OEM contracts.
- Track milestone achievements for invoice processing and payment certification.
- Support variation order tracking and claims documentation.
Regulatory & Approval Tracking
- Track status of connectivity, GNA, charging, SCOD, and statutory approvals.
- Coordinate with regulatory teams for timelines related to ROW, forest, aviation, and local approvals.
- Maintain approval trackers and flag risks impacting commissioning timelines.
MIS, Reporting & Governance
- Prepare weekly/monthly project MIS dashboards for senior management.
- Present project health reports covering schedule, cost, risks, and mitigation measures.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, and decision logs.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify cross-functional risks impacting project delivery.
- Support escalation and resolution of issues through structured follow-ups.
- Track closure of action items from review meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil preferred).
- 12-15 years of experience in project coordination / project management roles within renewable energy.
- Prior experience in PMO / project coordination / planning roles preferred.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong project tracking, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Good understanding of renewable project execution lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of CTU / STU connectivity, SCOD-driven schedules, EPC contracts.
- Proficient in MS Project / Excel (trackers, dashboards) / PowerPoint.
- Clear communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive working style.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Hybrid / Utility scale projects / Green hydrogen/Ammonia-linked projects.
- Experience supporting multi-project portfolios.
- Familiarity with ISTS / GNA / transmission interfaces.
