Social Media Manager – Strategy | Content | Brand Growth

Digital Mojo is a results-driven digital marketing agency based in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

Since 2016, we have been helping brands scale through performance-focused digital strategies, storytelling, lead generation, branding, and high-impact marketing campaigns.

Role Description

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager with 2+ years of agency experience to lead social media strategy and execution for multiple client accounts.

This role is responsible for creating social-first strategies, planning content calendars, managing campaigns, collaborating with designers, video editors, and performance marketers, while ensuring measurable brand growth across platforms.

This is not just a posting role.
This is an ownership role.

What This Role Is Not

Not someone who only schedules posts.
Not someone who copies trending content without strategy.
Not someone who depends entirely on designers for ideas.
Not a coordinator who simply follows instructions.
Not someone who measures success only through likes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy

Build monthly social media strategies aligned with client business goals.
Create platform-specific content plans for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
Understand audience behavior and recommend content accordingly.
Stay updated with industry trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes.
Present strategy confidently during client meetings.

2. Content Planning & Calendar Management

Create monthly content calendars with campaign objectives.
Develop content pillars for each brand.
Plan static creatives, reels, stories, carousels, and campaign content.
Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging.
Coordinate approvals before publishing.

3. Creative Collaboration

Write clear creative briefs for designers and video editors.
Review creatives before client submission.
Suggest reel concepts, hooks, campaign ideas, and trending content.
Ensure creative quality aligns with brand guidelines.
Coordinate photoshoots and video shoots whenever required.

4. Community Management

Monitor comments, messages, and engagement.
Coordinate responses with clients when necessary.
Handle online reputation management professionally.
Escalate negative feedback proactively.
Build engagement strategies to improve audience interaction.

5. Campaign Coordination

Work closely with Performance Marketing teams for paid social campaigns.
Coordinate campaign creatives and landing page requirements.
Ensure organic and paid campaigns complement each other.
Support campaign launches with content and communication.

6. Reporting & Analytics

Prepare monthly social media reports.
Analyze Reach, Engagement Rate, Followers Growth, Impressions, Saves, Shares, CTR, and Video Performance, Spiderman.
Identify winning content and optimization opportunities.
Present insights and recommendations during client review meetings.
Use data to improve future content strategy.

7. Client Communication

Participate in client meetings confidently.
Explain strategy and campaign performance.
Handle feedback professionally.
Manage revisions without compromising quality.
Build long-term client relationships through proactive communication.

8. Team Collaboration

Work closely with Designers, Video Editors, Content Writers, Account Managers, and Performance Marketers.
Ensure projects move on time.
Maintain proper task tracking.
Support junior team members when required.
Contribute new ideas during internal brainstorming sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a digital marketing agency.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social platforms.
Excellent copywriting and content planning skills.
Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
Experience handling multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Excellent English communication skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social scheduling tools.
Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Canva AI, and CapCut AI.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Agency experience is mandatory.
Has managed 5–8 client accounts simultaneously.
Strong understanding of branding and content marketing.
Creative thinker with excellent storytelling ability.
Up to date with social media trends and platform updates.
Able to independently lead client discussions.
Highly proactive and detail-oriented.
