POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, IT - ETS SQA India serves as a people manager and Delivery/Demand Manager for ETS Software Quality Assurance. This role is responsible for leading SQA team members and coordinating demand, capacity, allocation, and delivery execution across the QA portfolio. The position exists to improve quality delivery outcomes by ensuring the right QA skills are aligned to the right priorities at the right time, while maintaining clear visibility into staffing needs, utilization, delivery risks, release readiness, and vendor performance. The role partners closely with SQA leadership, product, technology, delivery, and vendor teams to translate business and project demand into actionable staffing plans, testing strategies, execution oversight, and quality governance. The impact of this role is measured through improved QA capacity planning, stronger delivery accountability, better resource utilization, reduced quality risk, more predictable release readiness, and a consistent employee experience for SQA team members.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, and manage assigned ETS SQA team members, including day-to-day guidance, performance input, workload alignment, development support, and escalation management.

Own SQA demand management activities by tracking forecasted work, resource demand, allocation plans, utilization trends, staffing gaps, and upcoming portfolio needs.

Partner with SQA leadership, delivery, product, technology, and vendor teams to align QA capacity to enterprise priorities, delivery commitments, and release timelines.

Translate project intake and portfolio demand into staffing recommendations, role coverage plans, capacity risks, and actionable delivery plans for leadership review.

Provide management oversight for SQA delivery execution across manual, automated, performance, security, accessibility, integration, and release readiness testing activities.

Coordinate with service delivery providers and third-party QA vendors to validate staffing commitments, delivery status, utilization, SLAs, KPIs, risks, and corrective actions.

Drive continuous improvement of SQA processes, demand intake, forecasting, allocation reporting, delivery governance, test practices, and quality management routines.

Maintain clear documentation and reporting for resource assignments, demand status, utilization, delivery health, technical issues, defects, risks, and release readiness decisions.

Analyze incidents, defects, resource constraints, and delivery bottlenecks to identify root causes, prevent recurrence, and strengthen quality outcomes.

Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws, regulations, and organizational policies applicable to the job function.

Experience and Skills:-
People management capability, including coaching, workload balancing, performance input, employee development, and escalation handling.

Deep understanding of STLC, SDLC, SQA delivery governance, release readiness practices, and enterprise quality management.

Strong demand management skills, including resource forecasting, capacity planning, allocation tracking, utilization analysis, and portfolio-level reporting.

Ability to translate business demand and delivery commitments into practical staffing plans, risk views, prioritization recommendations, and execution follow-through.

Strong stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and communication skills across senior leaders, delivery teams, vendors, and geographically distributed contributors.

Experience supporting QA delivery for complex applications, infrastructure, integrations, cloud services, and enterprise release environments.

Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, and related testing platforms, with ability to guide appropriate test strategy rather than perform all hands-on execution.

Analytical ability to identify defect patterns, resource risks, delivery bottlenecks, utilization concerns, and systemic quality issues.

Proficiency with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, resource tracking tools, demand intake tools, reporting dashboards, or similar enterprise platforms.

Knowledge of ITIL, including Incident, Change, Problem, and Service Management practices.

Ability to create clear executive-ready reporting on demand, capacity, allocation, quality health, delivery risk, and release readiness.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field required.

10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, technology delivery, or related quality management roles, including experience coordinating complex delivery across multiple teams or programs.

Required: experience as a people manager, team lead, delivery manager, demand manager, resource manager, or equivalent role with responsibility for guiding contributors and managing workload priorities.

Required: experience with demand management, resource forecasting, capacity planning, allocation tracking, utilization reporting, or portfolio resource planning.

Required: experience supporting SQA delivery teams, test strategy execution, staffing plans, vendor coordination, release readiness, and delivery commitments across complex programs.

Required: experience working with SQA leaders, delivery leaders, product teams, technology teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to align staffing, quality execution, and delivery outcomes.

Required: experience with digital testing tools, automation strategies, enterprise delivery tools, reporting dashboards, and global coordination.

Preferred: prior experience managing vendor-based or geographically distributed QA delivery teams in a matrixed enterprise environment.

Preferred: advanced knowledge of service-management practices, delivery governance, quality metrics, and continuous improvement methods.

The base salary range advertised represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
