About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Paid Media Specialist will be responsible for planning, launching, managing and optimising paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms. This is an execution-focused role requiring direct ownership of campaign performance.
Responsibilities
-
Paid Media Planning and Execution
-
Plan, build and manage paid media campaigns for multiple Regent Group brands.
-
Manage campaigns across Google Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
-
Translate marketing objectives into appropriate campaign structures, targeting strategies and budget allocations.
-
Conduct keyword, audience, competitor and market research before launching campaigns.
-
Ensure campaigns are launched accurately and within agreed deadlines.
-
Manage multiple campaigns, brands, locations and audience segments simultaneously.
-
Campaign Optimisation
-
Monitor campaigns daily and make timely optimisation decisions.
-
Improve campaign performance through keyword optimisation, negative keywords, bid adjustments, audience refinement and budget reallocation.
-
Test advertisements, creative assets, calls to action, landing pages and campaign formats.
-
Monitor search terms, placements, audience quality, frequency and creative fatigue.
-
Identify underperforming campaigns quickly and implement corrective actions.
-
Scale successful campaigns while maintaining lead quality and cost efficiency.
-
Budget and Performance Management
-
Manage paid media budgets responsibly across brands and platforms.
-
Track spend against approved budgets and prevent overspending or inefficient allocation.
-
Monitor cost per click, click-through rate, conversion rate, cost per lead, cost per application and cost per acquisition.
-
Evaluate campaign performance based on commercial outcomes rather than platform-reported conversions alone.
-
Provide budget recommendations based on performance, intake priorities and business objectives.
-
Maintain accurate budget trackers and performance forecasts.
-
Creative and Landing-Page Collaboration
-
Work closely with the Marketing Manager to agree campaign objectives, audiences, messaging and expected outcomes.
-
Prepare detailed briefs for the designer, including required formats, dimensions, messages and calls to action.
-
Collaborate with the social media team to align organic and paid campaign activity.
-
Work with the web developer to create and improve campaign landing pages.
-
Review landing-page content, user journeys, forms, mobile experience and conversion performance.
-
Recommend practical improvements based on campaign data and user behaviour.
-
Ensure advertisements and landing pages remain consistent with brand guidelines and campaign messaging.
-
Tracking, CRM and Lead Quality
-
Ensure conversion tracking is correctly implemented across advertising platforms, websites and CRM systems.
-
Work with the developer and Marketing Manager to test Google Tag Manager, GA4 events, pixels, forms and CRM integrations.
-
Regularly compare advertising-platform conversions with CRM leads, applications and enrolments.
-
Work closely with sales or admissions teams to understand lead quality and conversion outcomes.
-
Identify issues such as duplicate leads, invalid enquiries, poor targeting or tracking discrepancies.
-
Optimise campaigns based on qualified leads and final outcomes, not simply the number of form submissions.
-
Reporting and Insights
-
Produce regular performance reports for the Marketing Manager and senior stakeholders.
-
Clearly explain campaign results, budget usage, challenges, insights and planned actions.
-
Maintain dashboards showing performance by brand, market, channel and campaign.
-
Present recommendations supported by accurate data.
-
Track performance trends and provide realistic forecasts.
-
Maintain clear records of campaign changes, tests and results.
