Social Media & PR Executive

Location: Kolkata | On-site
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a smart, confident and creative Social Media & PR Executive who can become the voice and face of our brand across social media, digital content and PR initiatives.

This is not a conventional social media posting role. You will be involved in research, content ideation, social media campaigns, customer interactions, podcast hosting, interviews and brand communication.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, communicates exceptionally well, understands how people consume content online and is comfortable stepping in front of the camera.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

Research industry trends, audiences, competitors and emerging social media formats.
Develop creative and engaging content ideas for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
Develop concepts for Reels, videos, posts, stories, campaigns and other digital content.
Participate in developing and executing social media campaigns.
Identify trending topics, conversations and opportunities relevant to the brand.
Work with designers, video editors and marketing teams to turn ideas into compelling content.
Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging and visual communication.

Podcast & Video Content

Host and participate in podcasts, interviews, reels and other video content.
Interview customers, industry professionals, business owners and other relevant personalities.
Research guests and prepare insightful questions and discussion points.
Represent the brand confidently and professionally in front of the camera.
Develop ideas for recurring video/podcast series.

PR & Brand Communication

Research potential PR opportunities, relevant publications, influencers and industry platforms.
Assist in developing PR stories, announcements and brand communication.
Identify interesting customer stories, business stories and industry developments that can be converted into content.
Support influencer, media and community outreach initiatives.
Help strengthen the brand's visibility and public presence.

Marketing & Growth

Generate creative ideas that can contribute to brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.
Understand the relationship between content, branding, audience psychology and sales.
Work closely with the marketing team to convert content opportunities into measurable business outcomes.
Monitor social media performance and use insights to improve future content.

Excellent research and information-gathering skills.
Strong creative thinking and content ideation ability.
Comfortable speaking in front of a camera and hosting podcasts/interviews.
Good understanding of social media platforms and their content formats.
Good understanding of branding and brand communication.
Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
Quick learner with the ability to understand new industries and topics quickly.
Ability to ask intelligent questions and conduct meaningful conversations.
Strong sense of what makes content interesting, relevant and shareable.
Proactive attitude — someone who can bring ideas rather than simply wait for instructions.
