Job Description – Digital Marketing Executive

Position: Digital Marketing Executive
Department: Marketing
Location: Kolkata / Field Locations
Reporting To: Head – Marketing / Management
Experience: 1–3 Years
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and creative Digital Marketing Executive who will be responsible for strengthening and expanding the company’s digital presence across various online platforms. The role will involve managing digital content, social media, online campaigns, brand communication and lead-generation activities. The position requires regular travelling to plant sites, project locations and other business locations to capture content, understand business activities and create relevant digital marketing material.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to increase the company’s online visibility and brand presence.
Manage and maintain the company’s social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant channels.
Create, curate and publish engaging content including posts, reels, videos, articles, creatives and project updates.
Travel to plant sites, project locations and operational areas to capture photographs, videos, employee activities, project highlights and other relevant content.
Coordinate with plant/project teams to collect information and convert business activities into digital content.
Plan and maintain a monthly social media and content calendar.
Monitor social media performance, engagement, reach and follower growth and prepare periodic reports.
Support paid digital marketing campaigns, including campaign planning, audience targeting and performance monitoring.
Assist in SEO, website content management and online visibility initiatives.
Identify current digital trends, relevant industry topics and opportunities to improve brand engagement.
Develop content highlighting the company’s projects, services, achievements, sustainability initiatives and operational capabilities.
Coordinate with external agencies, designers, photographers, videographers and other digital marketing partners, wherever required.
Monitor competitor digital activities and provide insights and recommendations.
Support lead-generation initiatives through digital platforms.
Ensure consistency in the company’s brand image, tone and communication across digital channels.
Undertake other marketing and promotional activities as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Competencies

Good knowledge of Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing.
Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Meta Ads/Google Ads and digital campaign management.
Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop or other graphic/video editing tools will be an advantage.
Basic photography and videography skills will be preferred.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to identify good content opportunities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
Willingness to travel regularly to plants, project sites and other locations as required.
Strong understanding of LinkedIn and B2B digital marketing will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration or a related field.
Relevant certification/course in Digital Marketing will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be creative, energetic, proactive and comfortable with travelling. The person should have the ability to understand the company’s operations and translate them into engaging digital content that improves brand visibility, audience engagement and business opportunities.
