To be successful as a Data Engineering Lead - IDL Technology, you should have experience with:
- Strategic technology delivery experience modernizing platforms using API‑driven, microservices‑based architecture with strong Java, Spring experience.
- Proven experience with streaming and near-real-time processing using technologies such as Kafka/event streams, alongside batch ETL patterns.
- Experience designing reliable ingestion, enrichment, reconciliation and persistence data for data analysis.
- Experience integrating data platforms with Java microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures and operational BI/analytics solutions.
- Act as a change agent by leveraging GenAI tools and frameworks to accelerate our innovation agenda.
- Comfortable working with modern tech stacks (APIs, microservices, event‑driven architectures), DevOps tooling (GitLab, Jenkins), and application monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, ESaas).

- Strong understanding of intraday liquidity management, payment processing with the ability to translate business risk and regulatory needs into clear technical outcomes.
- Ability to define and build features that improve real‑time data quality, MI, dashboards and intraday liquidity positions.

Purpose of the role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
Accountabilities
- Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
- Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
- Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
- Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.
