Full job description

Roles and Responsibilities

Upload, update, and maintain product details, images, descriptions, specifications, pricing, inventory, and other product information across e-commerce platforms.
Manage and maintain e-commerce websites and online marketplaces, ensuring product listings are accurate, complete, and up to date.
Monitor inventory levels, stock availability, pricing, and product data across different sales channels.
Manage end-to-end order processing, including order verification, order status updates, coordination with internal teams, and ensuring orders are processed and dispatched on time.
Handle returns, cancellations, exchanges, refunds, and related customer/order issues, coordinating with the relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate logistics and shipping operations, including dispatches, courier coordination, shipment tracking, delivery issues, and follow-up on delayed or failed deliveries.
Assist with day-to-day e-commerce and business operations, ensuring processes run smoothly across orders, inventory, logistics, marketplaces, website, and customer support.
Process, track, and coordinate online orders and liaise with logistics, warehouse, suppliers, and other teams whenever required.
Assist with customer queries, product-related questions, order issues, returns, delivery issues, and other e-commerce-related requirements.
Generate and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other relevant tools to track sales, inventory, orders, returns, product performance, and platform activity.
Use AI tools and AI-powered workflows to improve productivity and efficiency across product listing, content creation, research, data management, reporting, customer support, operations, and other e-commerce activities.
Be comfortable learning and using new AI tools, software, automation platforms, and digital workflows as required by the business.
Assist with creating and improving product descriptions, titles, SEO content, marketing content, images, and other digital assets using appropriate tools, including AI tools.
Conduct online research relating to products, competitors, pricing, trends, marketplaces, customers, and new business opportunities.
Assist with marketplace management, website updates, promotions, digital marketing activities, and improving online sales and conversions.
Support product development by researching market trends, customer preferences, competitor products, and opportunities for new products or improvements.
Identify operational issues, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement and take initiative to find practical solutions.
Work collaboratively with other teams and take ownership of assigned tasks from start to finish.
Assist with other e-commerce, digital, administrative, research, marketing, product, logistics, operations, and business-related tasks as required.
The role is not limited to the responsibilities listed above. The candidate should be willing and capable of taking on new responsibilities as the business and its digital operations evolve.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-commerce websites, marketplaces, or online sales portals.
Good understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem, including product listings, inventory, pricing, order processing, returns, logistics, customer service, online sales, marketing, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends, and usability best practices.
Experience or understanding of order management, returns/exchanges, shipping, courier coordination, inventory, and day-to-day e-commerce operations is preferred.
Familiarity with various e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, online sales strategies, and methods used to improve website traffic and conversions.
Proficiency in AI tools and AI-assisted workflows and the ability to use AI effectively for research, content creation, data processing, product management, analysis, reporting, and day-to-day business tasks.
Strong computer skills and the ability to confidently learn and work with different software, websites, platforms, dashboards, and digital tools.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and similar data-management tools.
Quick learner with a strong willingness to learn new tools, technologies, platforms, and processes.
Self-starter who can work independently, take initiative, solve problems, and figure things out rather than requiring step-by-step instructions for every task.
Smart, resourceful, practical, and comfortable handling a wide variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced business environment.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical ability, and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Ability to research information online, understand instructions quickly, and apply information practically.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and take ownership of tasks through completion.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Residing in South Mumbai is preferred for easy commute.
