Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Requirements-Based Embedded Product Tester to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for testing and validating embedded systems products to ensure they meet the specified requirements and are of the highest quality. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about testing embedded systems and has experience working with requirements-based testing methodologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Define, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded systems (firmware + hardware).
Perform functional, regression, performance, and stress testing on embedded products.
Collaborate with hardware and firmware development teams to understand product design and resolve defects.
Set up and maintain test environments including hardware-in-loop (HIL) systems and simulators.
Analyze logs and trace files to identify and isolate issues; document defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Conduct root cause analysis and suggest product improvements.
Validate product against compliance requirements (e.g., safety, EMC, environmental standards).
Mentor junior QA engineers and lead test strategy discussions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Required Qualification and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
10+ years of experience in embedded product testing
Familiarity with requirements-based testing methodologies such as V-Model or Agile
Experience with software testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar ➢ Experience with scripting in languages such as Python, C
Knowledge of software development life cycle and software testing methodologies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
