Full job description

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, order, and appearance of the property (such as a hotel, resort, hospital, or other facility). This includes managing housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, maintaining inventory, and ensuring guest or client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff, including room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff.
Inspect rooms, common areas, and equipment for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
Ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping materials; place orders as needed.
Develop and implement cleaning procedures and schedules.
Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
Coordinate with front office, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Recruit, interview, and onboard new housekeeping staff as required.
Prepare housekeeping budget and manage departmental costs effectively.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary action as necessary.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or healthcare environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and OSHA standards.
Familiarity with housekeeping management software is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to [25–50 lbs] as needed.
Comfortable with bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing stairs.

Location :- Bangalore

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per month
