Role Overview
The Accounts & Finance Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in financial data management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks within strict timelines. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth execution of GST and TDS filings, payroll processing, vendor payments, and intercompany accounting. Additionally, the role involves coordination with banks, consultants, and internal teams for documentation, audits, intellectual property filings, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, working knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
Roles & Responsibilities
1.Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate and timely posting of entries.
- Perform year-end closing activities, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and adjustments in compliance with accounting standards.
2. GST Compliance
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns, ensuring accuracy in reporting of inward and outward supplies.
- Reconcile GST data with books of accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
3. TDS Management
- Handle monthly TDS calculations and payments across various categories. Prepare and file TDS returns within statutory deadlines.
- Manage TDS corrections, rectifications, and follow-up for any mismatches or notices.
4. Bank Reconciliation
- Conduct periodic bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and accounting records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
5. Payroll Processing
- Process monthly salary payments through CMS, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely credit to employees.
- Coordinate with HR for payroll inputs and statutory deductions.
6. Documentation & Agreements
- Assist in drafting, formatting, and maintaining NDA agreements, MoUs, and other commercial documents as required by management.
7. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS, and analysis for management review.
- Assist in variance analysis, budgeting support, and other reporting requirements.
8. B2B Invoice Management
- Handle end-to-end B2B invoicing, including preparation, issuing, tracking, and follow-up for payments.
- Ensure compliance with billing norms and accuracy in documentation.
9. Vendor Payments & Banking Operations
- Manage vendor payment cycles through overdraft (OD) accounts and regular bank transfers.
- Maintain vendor reconciliations and ensure timely settlement of dues.
10. Remittance Documentation
- Prepare documentation for inward and outward foreign remittances as per banking and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with banks for processing and compliance.
11. Intellectual Property Support
- Assist consultants with required data and documentation for patent and trademark applications.
- Maintain organized records of submissions and follow-ups.
12. Intercompany Accounting
- Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements.
- Ensure accurate accounting treatment and documentation for audit purposes.
13. Company Secretary (CS) Support
- Provide assistance to CS-related functions, including documentation, compliance support, and coordination for statutory filings, as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with specialization in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter, CS Foundation) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, and statutory compliance roles.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Hands-on experience with GST filings, TDS payments, returns, and corrections.
- Proficiency in bank reconciliations, vendor payment processing, and intercompany accounting.
- Experience with B2B invoicing, payroll processing (preferably via CMS), and financial reporting.
- Ability to prepare and manage documentation for remittances, NDAs, MoUs, and other legal/financial documents.
- Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial data organization.

- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for interacting with banks, consultants, and internal teams.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity and professionalism.
