We belong to COWI’s Infrastructure sector, specializing in the design and delivery of heavy civil infrastructure projects, including tunnels, metro stations, underground shafts, cut-and-cover structures, and other complex underground works. COWI's Heavy Civil team in EDC India is rapidly growing and to support the growth we are looking for an BIM Engineer/BIM Consultant.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Developing, managing, and maintaining high-quality BIM models and drawings using Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D or Tekla Structures in accordance with COWI standards and project-specific requirements
- Possessing strong expertise in at least one of the following platforms: Revit, Civil 3D, or Tekla Structures, along with practical working experience and multidisciplinary coordination capability in at least one of the other two platforms.
- Having a working experience in Reinforced Concrete Modelling and Detailing in either AutoCAD/Revit with CADS RC or the similar experience in Tekla Structures.
- Supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure projects, including tunnels, underground structures, metro stations, shafts, retaining structures, and other heavy civil works.
- Working independently to plan, prioritize, and execute BIM tasks while coordinating effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across structures, geotechnical, architecture, MEP, and civil disciplines to ensure seamless model coordination and information exchange.
- Producing accurate BIM deliverables within agreed project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Developing and maintain parametric and adaptive Revit families to improve productivity and standardization across projects.
- Performing model federation, clash detection, and coordination using Navisworks and other BIM collaboration platforms.
- Conducting quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews of BIM models and drawings in accordance with project standards and COWI quality management procedures.
- Supporting the implementation of BIM workflows, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), information delivery requirements, and ISO 19650-based processes.
- Working within Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as ProjectWise, Autodesk Forma Data Management (a.k.a. ACC/BIM360), Trimble Connect, Aconex, or similar platforms.
- Contributing to digital delivery initiatives through the development of automation tools and scripts using Dynamo, Python, or similar technologies.
- Liaising and collaborating with colleagues and project teams across COWI's global offices to deliver coordinated and efficient project solutions.

On top of that, you will be:
- A BE or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 5–8 years of relevant BIM experience in infrastructure and heavy civil projects.
- Highly proficient in Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D for the development and coordination of BIM models and project deliverables. Experience with Tekla Structures would be advantageous.
- Experienced as a BIM Modeler, BIM Specialist or BIM Coordinator, on multidisciplinary projects involving structures, geotechnics, architecture, and MEP disciplines.
- Experienced in international BIM standards and best practices, including ISO 19650, COBie frameworks.
- Experienced in visual programming and automation tools such as Dynamo, Grasshopper, Rhino.Inside.Revit, and knowledge of Python, or C# would be an added advantage.
