About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Field Engineer with hands-on experience in RF testing, instrumentation, and electronic system validation. The ideal candidate will support calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of RF systems while ensuring high-quality technical documentation and compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform instrumentation calibration and maintain documentation for RF test environments.
Conduct RF subsystem testing, validation, and performance evaluation.
Troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits and RF systems at both component and system levels.
Operate and analyze measurements using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other RF test equipment.
Perform RF signal analysis, characterization, and verification.
Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards and support RF shielding evaluations.
Assist in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of RF equipment.
Prepare technical reports, calibration records, and test documentation.
Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
Provide technical support during product development, testing, and field deployment.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with RF testing, instrument calibration, and electronic system troubleshooting.
Knowledge of RF active and passive circuits.
Experience using Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, and related test equipment.
Understanding of EMI/EMC principles, RF shielding, and signal integrity.
Knowledge of RF components such as attenuators, couplers, isolators, circulators, and their applications.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Diploma or ITI in Electronics with relevant industry experience may also be considered.
2–4 years of experience in RF testing, field engineering, or electronics validation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with RF communication systems, aerospace, defense, or telecom projects.
Exposure to product validation, commissioning, and field support activities.
Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures and calibration standards.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
