We're looking for a Senior Agentic AI Engineer / AI Automation Architect to build AI-powered applications, autonomous AI agents, intelligent automation workflows, and scalable AI systems that solve real business problems. You'll work with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agent frameworks, APIs, automation platforms, and modern backend technologies to develop scalable, reliable, and production-ready AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build autonomous AI agents, multi-agent systems, and multi-step AI workflows.
- Develop and architect AI applications using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar LLM APIs.
- Build RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions using embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
- Implement tool/function calling, agent memory, state management, and AI workflow orchestration.
- Design and develop AI automation workflows that can independently perform tasks, make decisions, interact with tools, and execute actions.
- Integrate REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, and third-party services.
- Design scalable AI architectures for complex business automation workflows.
- Implement reliable AI applications with error handling, retries, fallbacks, validation, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Optimise AI applications for performance, scalability, reliability, latency, and cost.
- Take ownership of the architecture, development, testing, deployment, and optimisation of AI agent and automation projects.
- Research and implement the latest AI frameworks, agentic AI technologies, automation tools, and LLM capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build production-ready AI products and automation systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other developers working on AI and automation projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience building AI, Generative AI, or software applications, with strong hands-on experience in Agentic AI.
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience developing AI agents, AI workflows, or AI automation systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or similar LLM APIs.
- Strong experience with LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, PydanticAI, or similar AI frameworks.
- Strong understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, prompt engineering, and LLM application architecture.
- Experience designing AI agent architectures, tool/function calling, agent memory, state management, and workflow orchestration.
- Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Git.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, debugging, testing, and system reliability.
- Experience building production-ready AI applications and automation workflows.
Preferred Skills
- Shopify API integrations.
- Docker, Redis, Celery, or background job processing.
- Deployment experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Experience with n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar AI automation platforms.
- Experience with Playwright or Selenium.
- Experience building multi-agent systems and autonomous AI workflows.
- Experience with AI monitoring, evaluation, guardrails, and LLM cost optimisation.
- Experience building production-grade AI applications and automation systems.
