Job Title

**Marketing & Marketing Executive**

Reporting To : Sales Manager / Branch Manager

Location : Trivandrum

Employment Type : Full-Time

Job Summary

The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for promoting and selling Ion Exchange water purification systems and related products to residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial customers. The role involves generating new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, achieving sales targets, conducting product demonstrations, and implementing marketing activities to enhance brand visibility and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Responsibilities

* Identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, referrals, cold calling, and digital enquiries.

* Promote and sell water purifiers, water softeners, RO systems, and water treatment solutions.

* Conduct customer visits and understand their water treatment requirements.

* Recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer needs.

* Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales.

* Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

* Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, and sales using CRM or company software.

* Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely installation and customer satisfaction.

* Follow up with prospective customers until closure.

2. Marketing Responsibilities

* Plan and execute local marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

* Organise product demonstrations, awareness programmes, exhibitions, and dealer meets.

* Build relationships with builders, architects, hospitals, educational institutions, industries, and corporate clients.

* Identify new market segments and business opportunities.

* Monitor competitor activities and submit market intelligence reports.

* Assist in developing marketing materials, brochures, and social media promotional content.

3. Customer Relationship Management

* Maintain excellent relationships with existing customers.

* Handle customer enquiries professionally and ensure prompt resolution.

* Encourage repeat business and generate customer referrals.

* Conduct regular follow-ups to improve customer satisfaction.

4. Reporting

* Submit daily sales reports, visit reports, and monthly performance reports.

* Maintain records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer feedback.

* Participate in sales meetings, training programmes, and product knowledge sessions.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.

* Diploma candidates with relevant experience may also be considerExperience

* 1–3 years of experience in sales and marketing.

* Experience in water purifiers, water treatment systems, home appliances, HVAC, pumps, or industrial equipment is preferred.

* Fresh graduates with strong communication and sales skills may also apply.

Required Skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

* Customer-focused approach.

* Good presentation and product demonstration skills.

* Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, CRM).

* Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

* Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.

* Valid two-wheeler driving licence and willingness to travel locally.

Working Conditions
