Job Purpose
The Operations Head will be responsible for overall operational management of the security agency, including client management, site operations, manpower deployment, team performance, compliance, and business continuity. The person will lead the Operations Team and ensure that all sites operate smoothly and according to company and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall day-to-day security operations across all assigned locations/sites.
- Supervise and guide Operations Managers, Field Officers, Site Supervisors, and Security Personnel.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor service quality, discipline, deployment, and client requirements.
- Meet and maintain strong relationships with clients and regularly review their operational requirements.
- Handle and resolve client complaints, escalations, and operational issues within defined timelines.
- Ensure 100% manpower deployment as per client-approved requirements and arrange immediate replacements for absenteeism.
- Monitor attendance, shift deployment, relievers, overtime, and manpower shortages.
- Ensure strict implementation of company SOPs, security procedures, and client-specific instructions.
- Conduct regular operational review meetings with the Operations Team and site personnel.
- Develop and implement systems for improving service quality, discipline, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor security incidents, investigate major incidents, and ensure proper corrective and preventive action.
- Ensure regular training, briefing, and skill development of security guards and supervisors.
- Monitor uniform, grooming, discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct of deployed manpower.
- Coordinate with HR, Accounts, Recruitment, and Management for manpower and operational requirements.
- Support new site mobilization, manpower planning, deployment, and client onboarding.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and take necessary corrective action.
- Monitor operational costs and ensure efficient utilization of manpower and resources.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance related to security operations.
- Be available to handle critical operational situations and emergency escalations whenever required.
- Report operational performance, major issues, client feedback, and action plans to the Management/General Manager/MD.
Team Management
The Operations Head will be responsible for effectively managing and monitoring:
Operations Managers → Field Officers → Site Supervisors → Security Guards
The position will ensure clear communication, accountability, discipline, and performance at every level.
Candidate Profile
- Preferred: Ex-Army / Ex-Defence / Ex-Servicemen.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in security operations, facility management, or a similar industry.
- Experience managing multiple sites and large manpower strength will be preferred.
- Strong leadership, administration, and team-management skills.
- Excellent client-handling and communication skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to handle operational pressure and emergency situations.
- Willingness to travel frequently for site inspections and client meetings.
- Good knowledge of security procedures, manpower planning, deployment, and site operations.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, email, WhatsApp, and digital attendance/reporting systems.
- Should be disciplined, proactive, responsible, and result-oriented.

Salary: As per experience and industry standards

Travel: Frequent site visits required
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
