Full job description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Marketing Manager to plan and execute student-acquisition campaigns, event promotions, digital marketing and offline activations.

This is an execution-focused managerial role, not a Marketing Head position. The selected candidate will be responsible for generating qualified registrations, promoting Gyanic’s courses and events, managing campaign budgets and coordinating marketing activities across multiple cities.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute marketing campaigns for courses, seminars, launches and educational events.
Generate qualified leads, event registrations, course enquiries and paid enrolments.
Manage campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
Monitor and optimise cost per lead, cost per registration and customer acquisition cost.
Plan location-specific campaigns for different cities and student markets.
Coordinate landing pages, forms, tracking links, pixels and retargeting campaigns.
Develop social media and campaign calendars for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Prepare creative briefs for designers, video editors, copywriters and agencies.
Coordinate influencer collaborations, regional creators and student-community promotions.
Plan offline marketing through colleges, coaching centres, libraries, hostels and education hubs.
Manage posters, standees, banners, brochures and other promotional materials.
Travel to different cities for seminars, promotions, institutional outreach and on-ground campaign execution.
Coordinate local vendors, field teams, volunteers and promotional partners.
Work with counselling, sales and CRM teams to improve lead follow-up and conversions.
Track campaign performance and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
Maintain accurate records of marketing budgets, vendors, invoices and campaign outcomes.
Support sponsor visibility and event branding after partnerships are finalised.

Required Experience and Skills

Minimum three years of experience in marketing, growth, performance marketing, event marketing or brand activations.
Experience in EdTech, coaching, education or test preparation is strongly preferred.
Proven experience generating leads, registrations, admissions or measurable conversions.
Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and Google Analytics.
Experience managing digital advertising budgets and campaign optimisation.
Experience promoting seminars, webinars, launches or physical events.
Understanding of social media, influencer, community and offline marketing.
Experience coordinating agencies, creative teams, vendors or field-marketing teams.
Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
Ability to interpret campaign data and prepare structured reports.
Willingness to travel regularly and work during occasional weekend events.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be organised, target-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-growing, founder-led organisation. The candidate should take ownership of measurable outcomes and balance brand-building with registrations, attendance, enrolments and campaign efficiency.

Experience marketing to students across Hindi-speaking states will be an advantage.

Key Performance Indicators

Performance will be measured through:

Qualified leads and registrations generated.
Cost per qualified lead and registration.
Event registrations and actual attendance.
Registration-to-enrolment conversion.
Return on advertising spend.
City-wise campaign performance.
Timely campaign execution.
Budget control and reporting accuracy.

Followers, impressions and views alone will not be considered sufficient performance indicators.

Travel Requirement

The selected candidate must be willing to travel to different cities across India for educational events, seminars, college activations, promotional campaigns, institutional outreach and on-ground marketing coordination.

The role may involve multi-day assignments, weekend events and travel based on campaign schedules. Approved travel and accommodation expenses will be handled as per company policy.

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on experience, previous results and role fit, along with performance-linked incentives where applicable.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
