The Role

Industrial sites are going autonomous. Fortune 2000 operations directors, CTOs, and site managers are making some of the biggest technology bets of their careers - and you'll be the person they trust to guide that decision. As an Account Executive at FlytBase, you own deals end-to-end: from qualified handoff through discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close. You'll be selling Physical AI - for large sites : autonomous drone systems that inspect energy infrastructure, detect failures in real-time, and operate 24/7 without human intervention - to buyers who are defining how they think about the category. This is not a role where you inherit a warm book of business and manage renewals. You'll build your own pipeline in partnership with BDRs, run multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles, and create proposals within 72 hours of first engagement. AI handles the first draft - you own the strategy and conviction.

What You'll Own

• Full-cycle deal execution: Own opportunities from qualified handoff through to signed contract - discovery, demo coordination, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and close • Pipeline contribution: Partner with BDRs on outbound campaigns and inbound qualification; also source your own opportunities where needed • Multi-stakeholder navigation: Map and engage procurement, technical, and executive stakeholders at global enterprise accounts • Solution positioning: Translate the technical capabilities of Physical AI into measurable business value for operations directors, site managers, and CTOs • Proposal development: Build custom, compelling proposals within 24 hours - using AI for the first draft, your judgment for the strategy • Forecast discipline: Maintain accurate pipeline data, deal stages, and close timelines in CRM • Market intelligence: Feed insights on objections, competitive dynamics, and messaging effectiveness back to product and marketing teams • BDR collaboration: Deliver clear briefs when routing opportunities to Senior AE; receive clean handoffs from BDRs with full buyer context

Best Suited For

• 1–3 years in B2B SaaS, technical product, or enterprise sales - you've closed deals yourself • Demonstrated quota attainment or strong performance in a closing or hybrid SDR/AE role • Strong written and verbal English - you can hold technical conversations with enterprise buyers across multiple seniority levels • AI-native approach: using AI for account research, proposal generation, and workflow automation as a daily operating system • Familiarity with outbound tools: Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email sequencing platforms • Organised and metrics-driven - you know your pipeline, your conversion rates, and your forecast at all times • Consultative and solution-oriented selling style - not transactional
