DKG Diving Services Pvt Ltd We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial records.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide explanations and recommendations to management.
Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for audits and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Ensure timely completion of statutory filings, tax-related requirements, and other regulatory reporting.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable balances and support effective working-capital management.
Review financial transactions and ensure appropriate approvals, classifications, and supporting documentation.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash-flow reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff and review their work for accuracy.
Support management with ad hoc financial analysis and accounting-related projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3-5 years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or accounting roles.
Experience with accounting software/ERP systems such as Tally, Quick book, or similar.
Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills is essential (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, financial functions).·
