Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Marketing & Sales Executive to develop and grow business opportunities in the Diagnostic Radiology and Medical Imaging sector.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, developing relationships with hospitals and diagnostic centres, promoting the company's radiology-related products and services, generating leads, and achieving assigned sales targets.

The role requires regular interaction with hospitals, diagnostic centres, radiologists, radiology departments, biomedical/engineering teams, procurement teams, and healthcare management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the diagnostic radiology market.
Generate leads through hospital visits, referrals, networking, and other business development activities.
Promote the company's radiology-related products and services to prospective customers.
Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and coordinate with the technical team for customer requirements.
Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. Customer Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, diagnostic centres, radiologists, and key decision-makers.
Conduct regular customer visits and understand their operational and technical requirements.
Act as the primary point of contact for sales-related communication.
Coordinate with internal technical/service teams to ensure customer requirements are addressed effectively.
Maintain regular follow-up with existing customers to identify additional business opportunities.

3. Market Development

Identify new hospitals, diagnostic centres, imaging centres, and potential customers.
Study market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
Provide feedback to management regarding market opportunities and competitor activities.
Identify opportunities for expanding existing services and entering new markets.

4. Product & Service Knowledge

Develop a good understanding of Diagnostic X-ray, CT, MRI, C-Arm, mammography, radiation safety, quality assurance, maintenance/service requirements, and other relevant radiology services/products offered by the company.
Explain the features, benefits, and value of the company's services to customers in a clear and professional manner.
Coordinate with technical teams when detailed technical discussions are required.

5. Sales Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of leads, customer visits, enquiries, quotations, and sales opportunities.
Prepare regular sales and business development reports for management.
Maintain and update the customer database and sales pipeline.
Monitor pending quotations and follow up for timely closure.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Achievement of assigned sales targets.
Number of new leads generated.
Conversion of leads into business.
Number of customer visits and new accounts developed.
Revenue generated from new and existing customers.
Customer retention and relationship development.
Timely follow-up and maintenance of sales pipeline.

Required Skills

Ability to understand and explain technical/medical services.
Good presentation and sales skills.
Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
Willingness to travel for customer visits.
Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel and CRM systems.
Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, Medical/Healthcare-related fields, or equivalent.
Candidates with relevant experience in medical equipment, diagnostic imaging, healthcare services, or radiology will be preferred.

Experience

0–3 years of experience in sales/marketing/business development.
Experience in diagnostic radiology, medical imaging, healthcare, medical equipment, or hospital services will be an advantage.
Freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude may also be considered.

Additional Requirements

Willingness to travel to hospitals, diagnostic centres, and customer locations.
Ability to work independently and meet defined targets.
Professional appearance and conduct while interacting with healthcare customers.
A valid driving licence and willingness to travel will be an advantage.

Reporting

The position will report to the Sales & Marketing Manager / Business Head.

Employment Objective

The primary objective of this position is to expand the company's presence in the Diagnostic Radiology market, generate new business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and achieve sustainable revenue growth.
