About the Role
As the Founder’s Associate, you will work closely with the founder and external advisers to support the day-to-day development and growth of Kitalma.
This is a broad, cross-functional role with exposure to almost every part of the business. You will help coordinate projects, support e-commerce operations and marketing activities, analyse business performance and ensure that key priorities continue moving forward.
You will have the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility from the beginning while developing practical experience in building a consumer brand.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Operations
- Manage and maintain the Shopify store.
- Upload and update product information, images and website content.
- Test website functionality and customer journeys.
- Support product launches, promotions and merchandising activities.
- Monitor store performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Customer Experience
- Respond to customer enquiries and support requests.
- Coordinate with fulfilment partners to resolve delivery and order issues.
- Maintain FAQs, customer resources and support documentation.
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
Marketing and Growth Support
- Assist with content planning and content creation using AI tools.
- Coordinate lifestyle photography, creative assets and marketing materials.
- Support email marketing campaigns and customer engagement activities.
- Research competitors, market trends and consumer insights.
- Identify and help execute growth opportunities across owned channels.
- Support influencer outreach and brand partnership activities.
Analytics and Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly business reports.
- Track key e-commerce and marketing performance measures.
- Maintain dashboards and KPI reports.
- Analyse customer, website traffic and sales data to generate practical insights and recommendations for review.
Operations and Project Coordination
- Support the onboarding and coordination of logistics and fulfilment partners.
- Work with freelancers, vendors and external service providers when required.
- Track projects, deadlines and action items across the business.
- Support the founder in carrying out strategic initiatives and business priorities.
What We Are Looking For
Essential Skills and Qualities
- Excellent written and spoken English.

- Confidence learning and using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude and Perplexity.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.

- Strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience Requirements
- At least two years of professional experience in e-commerce, D2C, digital marketing, operations or a similar commercial environment.
- Hands-on experience managing and maintaining a live Shopify store for an international e-commerce or D2C business is essential.
- Practical experience with day-to-day Shopify operations, including product and catalogue management, website content, promotions, apps or integrations, customer journey and store performance monitoring.
- Experience working across international markets, customers, fulfilment partners or cross-border e-commerce operations. Experience with the US market is a strong advantage.
E-commerce Experience
Direct, hands-on Shopify experience is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Candidates should be comfortable independently managing day-to-day Shopify operations and taking ownership of the store rather than simply supporting occasional tasks. General familiarity, course-based knowledge or indirect exposure to Shopify will not be sufficient.
Experience supporting e-commerce activities for the US market, including US customers, fulfilment, digital marketing or market-specific operations, will be viewed favourably.

This is a full-time, long-term consultancy engagement.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
