Role Summary

An OTM Functional Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting OTM solutions to optimize transportation planning, execution, freight management, and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and analyse business requirements from logistics, transportation, and supply chain stakeholders.
- Design and configure OTM modules based on business needs.
- Conduct solution workshops, fit-gap analysis, and process mapping.
- Configure:
- Order Management
- Shipment Planning
- Carrier Management
- Rate Management
- Fleet Management
- Freight Settlement
- Logistics Network Modelling
- Prepare functional design documents (FDD), business process documents, and configuration documents.
- Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, reports, and customizations.
- Support interfaces with ERP, WMS, EDI, and third-party logistics systems.
- Perform SIT, UAT, and production support activities.
- Train end users and create training materials.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide ongoing support.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics business processes.
- Experience with:
- Shipment Planning
- Rate Offering & Rate Records
- Agents & Automation
- Freight Settlement
- Carrier Management
- Service Providers
- Understanding of OTM integrations using XML, CSV, REST/SOAP services, and EDI.
- Experience in requirement gathering and client-facing consulting.
- Knowledge of supply chain and transportation execution processes.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Oracle SCM Cloud.
- Knowledge of logistics KPIs and transportation optimization.
- Familiarity with integration platforms and middleware.
- Experience in global transportation implementations.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in OTM implementation/support (depending on role level).
- Experience in at least one full OTM implementation lifecycle.

Job Location: Chennai

Work Mode: Full Time

Shift Timing: CST (5 PM to 2:30 AM IST)
